Tau-29 Search & Rescue mission concluded
Tau-29. 22.01.830

The joint Tau-29 search and rescue mission initiated following the mysterious disappearance of three vessels, namely the IKN-Akagi, the HMS-Mary.Rose and an unnamed Crayter Gunboat, within Tau-29 and Tau-31 concluded. Read about it in detail here.
All three involved parties coordinated their efforts, with both Crayter and Bretonian Armed Forces assisting the Naval Forces until the first week of January 830 but their efforts were in vain and all vessels remained marked MIA.

The Sunrise News Network managed to get a hold of an internal source within the Naval Forces, who due to the sensitive nature of this operation, prefers to remain unnamed. Our source explained us that the Naval Forces managed to retrieve the wreckage of the IKN-Akagi on the 19th of January, claiming that the wreckage is currently being towed to "a safe spot" for further analysis. Upon our inquiry whether a hint about the whereabouts of the other two warships was detected, our source merely stated the following: "It appears unlikely these vessels were ever in Tau-29 to begin with. They must have fallen to the same Gallic onslaught but within Tau-31. There are anomalies connecting the Taus, perhaps the battle spilled over through one of these? Their very nature makes it hard to determine what truly happened. We will have to wait for the analysis of the Akagi's blackbox."

That is it for the moment but we will keep you updated!
