In Freelancer's vast universe,
Factions rise and fall in verse,
My favorite mod, Discovery,
Brings them to life with mastery.
The Liberty Navy's my first choice,
Protecting Liberty with voice,
Their ships are sleek, their guns are loud,
Enemies tremble at their sound.
Next up are the Outcasts bold,
Living life outside the fold,
Flying scavenger ships with glee,
And taking down their enemies.
The Bounty Hunters, always keen,
Tracking down the rogue machines,
Their fighters fast, their missiles true,
No outlaw's safe from their pursuit.
And let us not forget the Rheinlanders,
With technology that meanders,
Their ships are sleek, their guns are fierce,
A force to reckon with, that's clear.
The Lane Hackers, sneaky and sly,
With tech that makes their enemies cry,
They'll steal your cargo, and your cash,
And leave you stranded in a flash.
These factions are just a taste,
Of what Discovery has to waste,
Come explore this universe vast,
And find your own faction at last.

In the depths of space, there lurks a foe,
A faction known as Nomads, don't you know?
Their ships, organic, strange and sleek,
Their power, feared by all who seek.
They come from far beyond our reach,
Their goals unknown, their language, a screech,
Their weapons, a form of psychic might,
That tears apart our ships with fright.
The Nomads drift in space alone,
Their bodies merge, their minds a drone,
And yet, they seem to have a plan,
A plan that threatens all of man.
Their presence, a cause for dread,
As they consume the living and the dead,
And so we fight, with all our might,
To push them back, to end the fight.
But still, they come, in wave after wave,
And we struggle on, to try and save,
Our worlds, our lives, our very race,
From the Nomad's terrifying embrace.
So beware the Nomads, if you dare,
For they'll be waiting, out there somewhere,
Their psychic powers, a fearsome sight,
A foe to challenge, day or night.

There once was a mod, Discovery,
That added new fun, for you and me,
With factions to choose,
And ships to cruise,
It's a game that's filled with great glory!
In the game of Freelancer, it's true,
That the mods can bring something new,
Discovery's the one,
That's packed with great fun,
And adventures that thrill through and through!
If you're looking for a mod with some kick,
That will make your Freelancer game slick,
Then look no further,
Than Discovery, the mod you prefer,
It'll take your space sim to the next pick!
The modding community is quite grand,
And the Freelancer modders take a stand,
But when it comes to the best,
Discovery surpasses the rest,
With features that are simply so grand!
Freelancer's a game that's been around,
But mods like Discovery keep it sound,
With new ships, factions, and more,
It's a mod that's hard to ignore,
And in space, it's the best game around!
In space, there's a mod that stands tall,
For Freelancer fans, it's a must-have call,
Discovery's the name,

In the Discovery community, you'll find,
A mix of individuals, all aligned,
To the goal of making mods for the game,
But with different personalities, not all the same.
There are those who are kind and helpful,
Ready to assist when things become stressful,
Eager to share their knowledge and skill,
And always ready to lend a thrill.
But there are also those who are mean and cruel,
Quick to judge and to ridicule,
Those who belittle and tear down,
Making the community a sad clown.
But through it all, the community thrives,
With new mods, ships, and adventures to drive,
And though some may be unkind,
The community as a whole is a find.
So let us celebrate the Discovery community,
With all its diversity and opportunity,
And though there may be some who are mean,
The majority are good and keen.
Amidst the Discovery community's varied blend,
I cannot help but miss my favorite faction, my friend,
The Phantoms were a fearsome group,
With their ships and weaponry that made others droop.
Their sleek vessels, black as night,
Struck fear in the hearts of any sight,
Their cloaking tech made them hard to detect,
And their deadly missiles were always a suspect.
But sadly, they were removed from the game,
And with them went my hope of fame,
For I had longed to join their ranks,
And fly with them through enemy flanks.
Their absence is keenly felt,
And my heart has never fully dealt,
With the loss of my favorite faction,
Whose prowess was my heart's attraction.
But still, I soldier on,
Modding the game until dawn,
And though the Phantoms are gone,
The community still marches on.
