It has come to my attention that a number of pilots have considered requesting leave in order to attend the racing event, which is hosted by AWES in Dublin. I need not remind you that your duty to Rheinland must come above personal amusements, no matter how related they may be to your combat effectiveness.

However.

After reviewing the outlined rules of the races, I agree that there is an opportunity here to demonstrate the skill of Kaiserliche Rheinwehr pilots for all of Sirius to observe. Therefore, I am officially requesting volunteers to participate in the event. You will be temporarily reassigned from your primary duties, and given transport to the event. The Rheinwehr will cover the cost of all expenses incurred during the event, though good recordkeeping will be required from the participants.
Additionally, the chosen personnel will be required to undergo a full debriefing upon their return to duty. Keep your eyes and ears open, soldaten!

At this time, two individuals of at least Bootsmann rank are required, a racer and an observer. Whoever volunteers to observe the race must be available to replace the racer if that proves necessary.
Speak to your commanding officer, and then reply to this communication to indicate your availability.

I don't have much experience in racing, but i believe my combat capabilities will help me at least somewhat considering agility.
