Humble request for a new Colonial ship - Yngen - 12-06-2006
I was looking around Lancers reactor and found the Galactica Hellgate mod
which has a few more BSG ships in it. I downloaded the Gizmo Ship Pack v1.0 which has the Raptor as well as a Viper mk VII (which I'm not really interested in.)
I'm particularly interested in getting the Colonial Raptor added to Discovery as a bomber on a par with the Taidan or Reinland bombers, though I would be grateful for any configuration the developers see fit to give it.
So I just want to know what a faction has to do to get a ship model request through. The model itself is ready to go from this xXx guy and the Galactica Hellgate mod and would only need balancing, perhaps changing hardpoints a bit ( haven't flown it yet, but I will soon in SP.) I'm not terribly happy with the skin job this guy has put on it and the texturing is a bit bland, but it will do unless someone is feeling charitable or likes BSG as much as I do and wants to make it look more authentic.

Yes, that would be very cool too. However I haven't found any premade mods for the new raider. Putting the raptor in discovery should be much easier.

I'm all for that, though I know nothing about how to prevent that, seems most custom ships end up having that problem in some fasion.

If I recall correctly I've seen quite a good model for the new Cylon Raider in the North Quadrant mod.
