surveying/ coords - Free_Riki - 04-08-2023 is there another way recover/set coords. do u really have to type that long line of numbers and letters each time ? RE: surveying/ coords - Sombs - 04-08-2023 To save the coordinates, you can simply open dsace.txt and copy the coordinates into a new file, so you can have your little databank with coordinates. To use the coordinates, you either need to type them out, or you prepare a script for doing that, for example with Autohotkey, which is what most people here use. The website has a few very easy examples for setting up a script, so that you only need to push a single button on your keyboard and the script will automatically enter the coordinates for you. All you then need to do is press enter and there you go. Keep in mind, though, that using AutoHotkey for any other purposes in Discovery is generally not tolerated as the use of third-party-tools is generally against the rules, with few exceptions like these. Scripts? What a madhouse... ![]() - Implemented /showcoords : lists the coordinates you have saved - Implemented /savecoords 0-9 : works like setmsg, but for jumping coordinates. - Implemented /c0-9 : works like setmsg but for coordinates. if you write /c1, it will set as coordinate the preset coordinate in slot 1. Obviously the slots aren't shared with msg. - Implemented /jumpsys command. lists to which system you can jump from your current system.
