Possible spoiler to new update - Recoil9000 - 04-26-2009 I found these after killing some nomad assassins. Nomad missile type 1, cannonball. Nomad missile type 2, Paralyzer. Nomad missile type 3, sidewinders. Nomad 'veils' (shields), equal to the champion. Nomad truster, same as the old Nomad truster. Nomad mines, nukes. Nomad CM's, Enh.CM droppers. All the same. Just looks more sexy. :) Possible spoiler to new update - deaxy - 04-26-2009 Ahh, the colors, they burn... But as i have researched in SP, the nomads dont really have any advantages over us, the "Insert nomad name for humans here" Possible spoiler to new update - Dashiell - 04-26-2009 oh man. although I agree that nomads should have equal chances in pvp as "human" ships, I`m so dead meat from now on:lol: Possible spoiler to new update - Jinx - 04-26-2009 while the equipment is identical - ..... .... you hardly find NPCs firing sidewinders or similar at you. - its not a big deal as such, - but a group of 4 assassins firing 4 sidewinders while chainfiring their other 6 guns on advance is a "slight" little different to a group of 4 BHG hammerheads firing their 4 reavers and 2 buckshots. i guess we can be happy its not cannonballs on the common NPCs though. I've found a couple of these too, I just thought meh, not like I can do much with them. sold them for a few credits. The new Nomad stuff on the new ships (to replace the silly homan stuff like shields etc) work quite well. Now they just need nomad armor upgrades for the keeper/wilde ships. Put some squids on the ships and you got yourself an upgrade... Possible spoiler to new update - mjolnir - 04-26-2009 ' Wrote:Actually all our new equipment has the same stats as the human equivalent..so be careful what you flame, because I can do it better. 1) human equivalents have launcher models 2) human NPCs carry maximum 1 missile and 3 traincd ammo pieces each, Nomad ones have 2 missiles and 12 cds 3) human shields have specific type meaning they get more/less vulnerable to different guns, same with human guns (outside codenames), all nomad shields and guns are without a specific type, meaning they hurt everything same and get hurt same as well. 4) nomads never used to have own shieldbusters, which was one of the arguments for them having better guns, now they got a paralyzer => this creates the biggest problem now as Nomad Fighter just got much better, as it can mount paralyzers now something to other LFs can't. Ohh yes it can also mount Sidewinders... and minis. If nomads are to get "everything same as humans" then maybe it's time to start with guns and ships? cause better ships and guns + same missiles => better package. |
