Freelancer Account?! - derBARON - 08-18-2023
Hi guys,
I remember FREELANCER from a very long time ago and was just thrilled to find this game and community, which sounds like the next logical step for a game like FREELANCER.
So - super happy. Followed the installation guidelines, downloaded verything, restarted the computer, etc. All as described.
Started the launcher and got "Could not find a registry entry for freelancer accounts. This means you probably never created a freelancer account. >OK<".
Ehm. OK. So... now. What? I searched this forum, just found a lot about BANNED ACCOUNTS, etc. some tools to create FREELANCER ID (from 2010, the download doesnt exist anymore).
Tried to start FREELANCER without DISCOVERY but the game wont start. Even as ADMINISTRATOR, it starts loading but then just nothing happens.
And the INSTALLATION guidelines do not give a hint what to do to "get a freelancer account".
Well... can somebody help? :-)

Hello, in the launcher window, click accounts, then right click and there is a create accounts in the dropdown. (Although long time since I never had an account)

Usually, you get an account named: New Accounts. (on the launcher)
