Omicron Nu Firefight [PVE] - Slimalou - 09-17-2023

The Battle For Prometheus' Fire
A chance that cannot be passed up. Battlegroup Halberd have discovered an Inactive Nomad Dreadnaught, both the Order agree that this is to good of an opportunity to pass up. Yet as research ships arrive and more forces enter Omicron Nu, Nomad sightings have increased. It has become clear to the Overwatch that the nomads know of the inactive Nomad Ishtar and are sending a force to deal with it. This cannot be allowed to happen!

The Forces of the Order, and battlegroup Halberd have taken up a defense perimeter around the Inactive Nomad. Orders are clear, keep the inactive Nomad alive at all costs!

  • Order and BF Halberd will start around the Inactive Ishtar.
  • NPC Nomads will attack from different directions.
Goals

The goal for Order and BF Halberd is to defend the Nomad Ishtar from attack.
Secure the inactive Nomad for transport to friendly Research base.
Side Objective: Keep other hostile factions away from the battlezone.

List is not set nor class set of participants, rather it is used to give staff and planners and Idea of the number of participating players
unlisted ships will be allowed to participate in the event given reasonable ship faction ( Indie corsairs, Order, Zoners, freelancers, ect)

General Rules
  • This is a PVE event, PVP is not expected to happen, all factions hostile to the listed participating faction are asked to stay away from the event. If a hostile faction wishes to "intercept" the event, please make planner aware and another event will be planned for a PVP Intercept to the above event.
  • Fighting will continue until the Inactive Nomad is destroyed or the Nomad NPC waves are defeated.
  • Cloaking is allowed.
  • ONE - repair ship will be allowed to take part in the event. the Repair ship can NOT repair the objective Nomad.
  • Combatants must stay in-system in the designated Area. Retreating from the area is allowed, but this means you cannot re-engage for the duration of that event. Depending on participants a set number of lives will be given to defending players.


    Ship slots and holdout time are not final!
