Kyushu Food Crisis

In a shocking turn of events, the Kanawaga Agricultural Association, a political party closely aligned with the interests of the Farmers of Planet Kyushu, found itself embroiled in a heated dispute during yesterday's meeting of the Imperial Diet. The source of contention? The controversial Kishiro-backed large-scale Synth Paste contract, which has ignited severe tensions within the ruling coalition.

The friction came to a head as Minister Akiyama of the Ministry for Agriculture and Ocean Policies, representing the Kanawaga Agricultural Association, voiced vehement opposition to the contract, citing that sufficient stockpiles of local products exist and that Kishiro's solo endeavour will only undermine the swift reparation efforts on Kyushu's surface. The contentious discussion ultimately led to an abrupt walkout by the entire Kanawaga Agricultural Association, with support from segments of the Ninkyō Dantai party, including both the Minister of Economy and the Health Minister. This dramatic exit reverberated through the Imperial Diet meeting, causing Imperial Prime Minister Miyasu to adjourn the ongoing session and cancel the following one scheduled for the upcoming Tuesday.

Simultaneously, reports have begun to emerge of a series of violent attacks against Synth and Kishiro convoys within Kusari space. These attacks, allegedly carried out by enigmatic and enraged Hogosha Associates, have added further complexity to the situation. The actions of the Hogosha Associates have taken a more overt and aggressive turn, raising questions about the Ninkyō Dantai's alleged ties to the Hogosha once more.

Kusari State Police representative Suzuki Date confirmed heightened levels of Hogosha activity within the Honshu system but urges everyone to remain calm and level-headed. To quote: "There is currently no need for panic, nor to quickly judge every Hogosha Pilot out there. We are in pursuit of a few names we consider our main suspects but I am unable to publicly provide you with details for now".
