{DHC} ID getting wrong mining bonus/speed - Prysin - 11-25-2023
Type: Server Config
Bug: DHC ID is now getting significantly lower mining yield compared to pre-hotfix 9.
Reproduction Steps:
- Step 1 - Log mining ship (Kaiser) with correct faction ID and IFF
- Step 2 - shoot rocks in appropriate places
- Step 3 - get ore 4-5x slower then pre hotfix 9
- Step 4 - give up mining because it's now untenably slow
Additional Information: I have tested with Silver and Uncut Diamonds.

It isn't only DHC, GMS is getting 25 units after 14-18 shots in a Light Miner.

i just tried 30 minutes ago. Mining rate for silver seems faster, but still slower then before patch.
About 3-4 minutes to mine 1375 units vs around 1-2 minutes ish from before. Is this a intentional reduction in speed?

just tried silver again, its seriously weird. you can shoot like 10 rocks get nothing, then BOOM 60-100.... then another 20 rocks and get nothing, then suddenly 100+ from one rock

Rock Badger was a lot better.
Light Miner was a different thing:
7 shots - 25 (still had canister in hold)
2 shots - 37
3 shots - 37
28 shots - 0
14 shots -37
10 shots -37
2 shots - 37
8 shots - 37
Went to test the Deployable Container. Just appeared as a small cylinder. Wouldn't allow me to use it.
Normally takes about 20 shots to destroy it, it took 2 and wasn't around to be tractored in.

I can report the same using IMG/OC ID’s on Niobium. Although, the OC gets less than half of the yield of IMG.(needs fix)
Seems this is server wide & not just local to one ID/ship etc.

For Alu it seems fixed now
