Requirements to apply:

  • Faction Logo
  • Creation of the following threads:
    • Infopage
    • Recruitment
    • Feedback
    • Message Dump (Optional)
  • Faction must be active for at least one month
  • Need at least three active members (including leadership)
  • Secured a faction tag and chosen and ID to represent
  • Strongly recommended to have a separate faction account
  • 5,000,000 credits

  • 1IC & 2IC Leadership
  • Faction Origins & Short / Long term Goals
  • Ships used & Naming conventions
  • Diplomacy & Relations
  • List of Significant & Notable Roleplay
  • Proposed Official Faction ID
  • Named ship the above credit requirement is located on
  • Submit your official application here
  • Application assessment & voting takes place across the following months

Takes place after becoming successful in your application


Getting Setup:

  • Prepare a 64x64 png of your faction's logo applied to this background
    • Once submitted, requires a patch to update it in-game
  • Prepare your subforums layout
    • Look at current Official Factions to get an idea of what suits
    • Subforums:
      • Creates a nested forum within the main one.
      • Displayed on the very top of the page.
      • Can have a description applied.
      • Can have a 180x180 PNG image applied.
    • Pinned Threads:
      • Displayed between the subforums and normal threads.
      • Typically used for important threads.
    • Normal threads are your standard threads located under the above
  • Submit your forums & logo request here

  • After the transition period has concluded, enjoy your time as an Official Faction. You will be held to a higher standard, as your roleplay has carried your faction into a position of recognition. Good luck, have fun!

.This was quite annoying to update, as there was a lot of bloat. Cut a ton of stuff out and make it easier to digest. Hope future Official Faction applicants make use of this.

Also, unrelated, been 1.5 years since I originally make this guide. It needed a touch-up.
