Firstly, what the hell is Elgin? The guys were talking about it and I'm really curious. Montes described it as "an icy sh*thole", and, well, I'm curious. Second off, what are you thinking owing him money?

Listen: I'm not sure what he's told you already, but I am pretty sure my... former, boss, has already paid him his due. But since that whole nasty business has transpired well over three years ago, I'm ready to pay him what he's owed, as long as it's not too out of pocket for me.
