Smuggling with a 5000cargo transport ? Is there a faction/ID combo that would allow this to be done?

I have even recently seen Adv. Trains with Outcast ID & IFF smuggling Cardamine and Slaves.
Most Smugglers seem to use the Pirate train, not 5k cargo though.

you could use a zoner iff/id(it may have to be guard), but other zoners may look down upon you smuggling under their colors.

All unlawful faction IDs permit 5k transports as far as I'm aware.

You can smuggle in pretty much any ship so long as your ID allows it. But think about it in roleplay, what's more likely to be caught? A huge, slow max size transport, or a small, nimble transport? Smuggling is more about the roleplay than the credits, I think. So go with a ship that suits your roleplay, not just the one that will earn you the most credits the fastest.

Junker Guard, maybe. Not sure if it has a restriction or not.

Junkers cap out at 4300, Guard ID isn't really for trading, biggest it can take is the Salvager.

Uh-huh, Ben's right, the Junker Guard ID doesn't even allow transports last I checked.

My bad. Yeah, go for Outcast/Zoner Guard or something.
