I am opening this diplomatic channel between our two organizations in hopes of future cooperation. I hope you are aware that the Unione Corse, and the Independent Miners Guild have been cooperating closely in the Taus for long time now, and our organizations have always been on the friendlier side of things, especially in terms of suppression of threats, namely the Outcasts, and the Alien threat that has started to plague the Taus. Despite this, we never really had a chance to discuss outside of simple bounty hunting contracts realizations.

We want to cooperate further with you even further, on different aspects. We see a lot of potential, we would not have contacted you otherwise. Also, we are not following Gallia's foreign policy of isolationism - just to make sure you differentiate us, from the Union.

I contact you, in capacity of the Provence government as well, as we also wish to develop the economy of our beloved system.

What do you say about a higher level of cooperation between Provence, and the Independent Miners Guild?

I am Albert Schulze, the current Guildmaster of the Independent Miners Guild. It pleases me to hear that the Union Corse wishes for our fruitful cooperation to continue and even expand. To be honest, I share the same sentiment. However, there has been a recent issue, all the way in Omega-7 of all places, involving one of your members stealing silver ore that our Guild members had mined. This incident makes it challenging for us to see the sincerity of your party. Attached to this message is the gun-cam footage from one of the miners who witnessed and recorded the ship in question. We hope this will not harm our future relations and that we can continue with our cooperation.

It is a pleasure to meet you. We do not have any operations in the Omega sector, not now, nor before, though we have a singular trade route that passes by this sector - this trade route is for the transportation of Polymers and Molybdenum. Not Silver Ore.

Multiple things are very much concerning and I hope this channel and subsequent discussion will help clear the issues that stems from this.

First of all, thank you for giving the name of the ship, I will lead an internal investigation. It would help if you could also give us the discussion of the interaction between the Corsican ship and the present ship, to facilitate this?

Second of all, it happened almost ten days ago; we are good partners, why did you wait for us to start a channel dedicated to the diplomacy between, not only the Unione Corse, but Provence as a whole, which the Unione Corse is part of, but is not completely Provence? We would have preferred if this was in a separate, dedicated channel instead of this one which is dedicated once again, to deepen the existing relations between the Guild and the Unione Corse - and thus, the Provence government? What is done is done, as I have said, the Law Enforcement Authority of Provence will investigate.

I will keep you updated as this investigation continues, but outside of this channel. This channel is dedicated once again, to being an open diplomatic channel akin to a virtual embassy. The best use is for the creation of treaties and such.

Thirdly, it is obviously contrary to any objective the Unione Corse has toward the Guild. One of my goals through this channel was to open up trade between us and the Guild.

At best, I can assure you this is an isolated incident. As I said earlier, we have only one route going through these systems, and it is for Polymers and Molybdenum. This is the work of an opportunistic member of the Unione Corse who had forgotten the lessons about our diplomacy with other state and non-state actors.

It is also my hope that this will not harm our relations. A cargo of silver ore is not worth destroying the relations we had built with the Guild, as we protected your convoys in the Taus against terrorist threats, and fought alongside your ships against common enemies. If needs be, the Unione Corse will pay a fine, which will be directly taken from the offender, no question asked. If you so wish.

You are indeed correct, Principal. We shouldn't have used this channel to report that isolated incident, and I apologize for doing so. The Guild is more than confident that the Law Enforcement Authority of Provence will handle it fully and to our satisfaction. As for transmissions between us and the vessel in question, they do not exist, as it quickly flew by, grabbing the ore, and then flew away. The delay in reporting was due to the incident occurring during the Silver Rush, at which time we were negotiating with the Rheinwehr.

But now, we can move on to more promising topics of our future cooperation. Your transmission mentioned it and the Guild is more than willing to work with Provence. We look forward to making it happen.
