Is the New Erie Safe for Investment? The Future Says Yes |
Lake City, Erie - Before the dissolution of the Protectorate, Planet Erie was widely regarded by her peers in the Republic as a problem child with an administration unamenable to taking part in our House's financial landscape. With the planet now free of its Insurgent collaborationist government, a major obstacle has been removed for the wheels of commerce and the prosperity of our system.
A representative for the Planetary Treasurer had this to say at the New Stimulus Conference hosted on Harrisburg Station just last week:
"We ran the numbers, and determined that pre-incorporation, the rate that Libertonian companies were starting their first planetside branches on Erie was easily a tenth of what it is now. The previous administration had a lot of their own infrastructure in place already, but it could've taken something like, seventy or eighty years to get the level of services and industry you'd find on Denver at the rate local charters were being handed out.
You compare that to now, we can manage the same thing in ten, maybe twelve years. Clearly, that's good for everyone."
The Big Three (Interspace Commerce, Ageira Technologies and Universal Shipping) formerly possessed minor stakes in the economy of our planet, but they and their subsidiary corporations are allowed much greater latitude to enrich our economy with our system's newly obtained membership with Liberty. With this new deregulation, the eagerness of successful industrialists from Texas and Pittsburgh to develop Erie's vast countryside and natural resources has invited much demand for DSE and its partners as well.
Some concern over the present state of low-level conflict on the planet is unavoidable. The persistence of the last shreds of the Insurgency and their civilian supporters has led to some in the media to refer to the initial arrival of the Liberty Military as "sticking our foot in it". When asked for comment, a spokesman for the combined Liberty Marine divisions present for counter-insurgency on Erie had this to say:
"Cleanup is proceeding a little slower than we'd hoped. The enemy has shown resilience in dealing with our air power due to what we suspect is foreign supply, and leverages the ability to disperse into civilian terrain with rural support. The way our initial landings were uncontested, that preserved a lot of their fighting capacity to play the game on their terms instead of ours. So those are the strengths we're targeting, getting our troops and armor right in there with the enemy and rooting out their supporters in the farmland and the isolated settlements. Those're the places keeping them going.
There's a whole lot of ground to cover, but we're confident in the superior espirit-de-corps and technology of our Marines.
I cannot, however, put an estimate on our victory at this time."
With Liberty's finest securing our newly-founded democracy against this terrorist threat, the future of business on Erie is considered "reasonably likely" to remain secure by Interspace analysts. If you're an entrepreneur or corporate representative looking to establish your company's footprint on Erie, there has never been a better (or safer) time to start the process.

Another Senseless War that Destroys More than it Achieved. The only thing that liberty Creates is a Conflict that will last for a long while and that will Cost Many Lives and Suffering. Instead of War Liberty should Seek Peace and Cooperation with the People of Erie. End the Occupation of Erie and the Pennsylvania System today and stop this before the Planet Becomes a Second Gran Canaria.
