BMM Transport Destroyed On Landing In Terrorist Raid
Cresthill, Nottingham - Chaos was in the air earlier this morning in the settlement of Cresthill, a company town and refugee hub of moderate size here on Nottingham, as the Bretonia Mining and Manufacturing private landing zones within the settlement's spaceport were overwhelmed with the sound of weapons fire and explosions. Well armed assailants in masks and civilian clothes are reported to have stormed the area just as a BMM "Grouse" class transport landed on the compound's largest pad, exchanging fire with corporate security forces as well as the responding Civil Defense Initiative militia who arrived to the scene. Local residents near the spaceport report that the clash lasted for roughly half an hour, and was put to a close with the catastrophic explosion of the transport that levelled much of the manufacturing giant's private compound, as well as several buildings adjacent the spaceport.

The transport in question, the BMM Albemarle, was registered as carrying robotics and industrial materials necessary for the company to hasten the construction of new buildings, factories and tunnels across the surface of Nottingham. The total casualty toll at this moment is unknown.

A statement was sent directly to Bretonia Police Authority and BMM offices on the planet via the Neural Net less than an hour after the bombing, by a throwaway social account titled "NoSmogOverNott" which seems to take responsibility for the attack. It reads as follows:

"If our Great House of Bretonia remains complicit in the blighting of a new Leeds, the sons and daughters of that murdered world will forever spurn her for her apathy."

The BPA affirms that the attack was carried out either by Molly or Gaian sympathizers present among the vast, and yet growing, population of Leeds refugees returning from abroad to settle on Nottingham. The character of the statement causes them to lean towards the latter, though nothing has been confirmed at this time. Their preliminary investigation reveals that it is likely that the attackers had assistance from those working within the compound, who could compromise its automated defense systems, and that the vessel's destruction was caused by a bomb, which was rushed by force onto the vessel after it had touched down. They also hasten to add that any rumors of friendly fire among CDI recruits are likely to be unfounded.

BMM public relations officials have not yet responded to request for comment.

Seems pretty obvious this is Gaian bullsh*t. Normally I don't care what those trust fund babies get up to in Cambridge, and sure, I'd love to breath air that doesn't give me cancer - I agree with that much. But killing random civs on a world where we're still trying to rebuild and give everyone from the old world a job and a home? Disgusting. Looking forward to putting some tachyon through the next Gaian I see, scumbags.

bloody hell i want to shoot whoever decided sprague oughta' be called nottingham.

sprague was fine for literally hundreds of years till the cunts in parliament started getting fussy (during the middle of what was potentially the most bloody war in human history)

anyway lmao bmm cant even handle gaians now? guess ik now why the 15th reg became a household name back home

but since these lot seem to have some more sense than the bio-weapon the refugees on gaia lot (and a valid point) good luck and happy hunting boys and girls
