Additional Information: The Weddell field in Magellan appears to be full of invisible rocks, at least around the northeastern encounter location. See here.

The asteroids appeared to be spread all over the field, like normal rocks. The video in the bug report was taken near the center of the encounter zone. That said, I can't reproduce the bug while visiting the field, so it might've been a one-off desync issue.
