There are no Guard bribes for any faction, there are no regular bribes for any house military faction.

A Good Guard reputation is also required to buy weapons from Cassini (and I assume other Guard system too) most notably Nuke Mines, which require at least neutral guard rep to purchase.
In future, its' best that we do not assume that everyone wanting to get guard reputation is a 'cap-whore' in the making.
