On behalf of the rest of the Directorate, we would like to sponsor the request by the Independent Miners Guild for access to the Tau-23 Jump Gate. In our observation their ships are capable of making runs when domestic corporations cannot, and can also bring in much needed resources from mining operations further afield that Gallia would normally not have access to. Allowing their vessels to traverse into Languedoc also ensures the safety of our own domestic shipping capability, with no actual risk to Gallic assets. Overall the Directorate views allowance of IMG vessel traversal as more than acceptable in this light, but of course the views of the Gendarmerie should also be considered.
