I spotted this person near West Point as my Sentinel 201 A was going ranting nonsense as per usual. I engaged in RP along these lines (no shots)
"A GMG pilot in a Rheinland Military vessel!?"
"Wait that's no GMG pilot! Its a Junker? Curious."
"Attention Junker, why are you flying GMG colors in a restricted military vessel?"
"Wait, I'm a Junker"
"So the ID says, but your GMG tagged"
"Oh dear, my GMG is flashing"
"Can you please explain how you got a hold on that ship?"
No answer for awhile
"Please explain pilot"
"How do I drop my GMG tag?" (Seems like a new player, I wasn't planning on killing him anyway, so I RP a way around it)
"Pilot, I will escort you to Colorado so you may get to Kusari space where you can outfit properly. Please comply or I may have to apprehend you under the espionage protocols" (this is my way of saying, please follow or I go rampant...)
"Ok".
The point of the above it this.
Did I do the right thing in yelling at a Junker, GMG tagged Wraith ship to follow me to check his rep? I was running the 'counter-spy' card.
On a plus, it turns out this player is alright, his English isn't his first language, but he understands what needs to be understood and I tried to help how I could. I tried to help him drop the tag via /droprep. But that shoved him into Bowex. :unsure:
So I took him to Rochester so he could rep with missions since he said his rep was green with them, I did off course state over system comms that "I'm bringing on of your own to you Rochester, I'm not here for legal issues.".
I didn't want to cause a fuss or be accused of camping in a gunboat.
So thoughts if any?
