SUBJECT: Requesting Passage for KPR| Trade Vessels in Bretonia Territory

Esteemed Bretonia Armed Forces and the Government of Bretonia,

I am Inspektorin Freyja Wolf from the Kaiserliche Rheinland Polizei (KPR|)

The Rheinland Polizei respectfully submits a request for passage rights for KPR| tagged trade vessels into Bretonian space. Our engineers are in critical need of the following high-quality materials:
  • Beryllium
  • Energy Field Equipment
  • Tungsten
Due to current supply limitations in Rheinland, we seek Bretonia’s authorization to allow these materials to be imported by our police forces. These components are essential for strategic defense improvements within Rheinland Polizei’s operational framework. Specifically:
  1. Beryllium will serve to enhance mixer chambers within our engines and create a neutron-resistant hull layer to mitigate damage experienced during Corsair raids.
  2. Energy Field Equipment is crucial for repairing shield emitters, which are increasingly needed due to recent engagements. Importing these items will reduce shield repair costs and sustain our operational readiness.
  3. Tungsten is necessary for reinforcing hulls, enhancing their resilience for police units engaged in active duty.
We propose weekly trade trips under the KPR| banner, managed by our Rheinland Polizei transport fleet. This trade initiative would allow a swift and secure supply chain for these materials while grounding our personnel in meaningful operational tasks.

We thank you in advance for considering our request and hope for a favorable response to foster strengthened cooperation between Rheinland and Bretonia.

Respectfully,

Kaiserliche Polizei Inspektorin Freyja Wolf
Rheinland Polizei

Esteemed Inspektorin Freyja Wolf,

the Armed Forces see no problems with trade vessels of the Kaiserliche Polizei traversing Bretonia, as long as two conditions are met. Fighting ships escorting these vessels must be of gunboat class or lighter and any checks by Bretonian authorities have to be complied with. The first condition may be relaxed if the escorting vessels are of the Kaiserlichen Rheinwehrs quick response unit stationed in Omega 7 carrying out their duties within the boundaries set by agreements between the Kaiserlichen Rheinwehr and the Bretonian Armed Forces.
As you represent a police authority I assume I do not need to explain that foreign state entities are under special observation within another houses sovereign space. Of course all laws that apply to commercial trade vessels will apply to your vessels as well.
I would recommend you send future requests of this kind directly to the appropriate government office, my time is limited and other matters usually take precedence. I apologise for any inconvenience caused by the delayed approval.

yours sincerely
Sir Jacob McIntire
