I apologize that we did not introduce ourselves. I am Advocate, whom you spoke to on the Hyaene, and my friend is named Civil Servant. I'm glad that you found the literature educational, though I'm sure none of us are pleased that such dark facts should be the case. All of your assumptions are correct. We are indeed members of the Exiled Party, and the governments of Sirius consider us to be terrorists. This is not without good cause, for what we do poses a threat to existing power structures not only within Rheinland but across all Sirius and Gallia. The state, as an institution, must seek us out and destroy us as if we were virids and they were antibodies -- though in fact, the roles they and we play are just the inverse. If you wish to assist us in some measure, or to be more abstract and less incriminatory, if you wish to promote the cause of freedom and individual sovereignty within Rheinland, I would at this time ask little more of you than what you do now. Apply your statutory discretion in the application of the law. Consider, as we previously intimated, that not all laws are truly there for the benefit of the people you seek to protect, but perhaps may have been enacted for a less civic purpose. Deftly threading the needle between conscience and obligation is no easy task, but to do your part in your own homeland contributes to a more just community of humanity all throughout the stars. I do wonder, however, where one might come across material similar to that which I gave you and your fellow officers, which describes the situation in Bretonia rather than Rheinland. I've not had occasion to visit myself, but I hear that Sprague is an unpleasant place these recent years. Maybe you know someone who could help enlighten me? Perhaps Miss Montgomery knows someone in Croyton. Regards - "Advocate" Cell of the Damnatio Memoriae "Flowers Freed From Frost" ![]() | Port Closed
