| Message start: Greetings to the Esteemed representatives of Orbital Spa and Cruise, My name is Jake Donovan, representing the organization of Interstellar Transit. As a growing Freelancer startup, we are making great progress in our efforts to provide more low cost passenger transportation services across the sector - and we have OS&C in part to thank for providing many exquisite destinations our customers clamor to visit! At present, while not directly competing with your Luxury Liners, I acknowledge you do have low cost passenger operations, unfortunately where we might be cutting into some profit margins. Likely much too little to register any concern I'm sure - at present we are a limited fleet. I enjoy the healthy competition of business as much as the next entrepreneur, but my true love is when businesses work together to find synergies that benefit them both in many ways. That ideal brings me to my objective with you today. My proposal is as such: Let us know where you'd like to see an uptick in business and we'll work marketing and logistical wonders to make this happen! Good Day Mr Donovan.
My name is Caitlyn Cross and I am the Chairwoman of Orbital Spa and Cruise. I have to admit that I am pleasantly surprised to see a Freelancer Startup working in the passenger business. That sure reminds me of my days as an Independent Orbital Spa and Cruise Capitan in the Borderworlds, it was a nice time and I hold these memories in high regard.
As for your Mention of a Low-Cost Passenger Service, I can inform you that we indeed offer such a service. But it is more like a side business for us as we transport these passengers on the lower Decks of our Liners in economy-class cabins. These Passengers often travel only from A to B and are not really on board for the Cruise Experience. Some of these are simple Travelers while others move into a new Life. Sometimes we also have Special Flights for these Passengers, for Example Ships that fly out into the border and bring adventurous people into a new Life.
But this kind of Passenger Transport is only a Small Portion of our Passenger business and mostly we either do Real Cruises or some Ferry Flights to the Liners and Planets in Orbital's possession. So we would not mind Hiring your Startup for some of these Routes that bring us only a Meager Profit compared to the detour that we have to fly for them.
As for being a Competitor, I can tell you that I see this like my Predecessor in the Seat of the Chairman, he lived by the motto that "A Rising Tide Lifts all Boats". Therefore I don't see you as a competitor at the Current time and more like a Support for our business.
As you have asked for Routes or a Contract for Passenger Transport I have to ask you what kind of vessels your Startup operates and what kind of equipment they have, as well as what kind of Training the Crews have. As I already mentioned we Operate in all Systems of Sirius and Gallia, this also includes the Borderworlds. As you might know, the Borderworlds especially are one of the Most Dangerous Areas of Known Space. They are a place where the Law and the Civilized Behaviour is seldom Present. If I am allowed to use a Quote from an old earth Sailing Map then the Borderworlds would be the Place that were labeled with the Words "there be Dragons". I don't want to offer you a Contract that would send your Ships and the Passengers and Crew into their Certain Deaths so I hope you understand my Caution in this Regard.
But should you Manage to meet our Standards then we can forge a Stable and Lucrative Business Relationship that lasts for a long While.

| Message start: Greetings Chairwoman Caitlyn Cross, It is a pleasure to meet you and I'm glad to see we share the same cooperative views on commerce! How encouraging to hear that there may be opportunities within your existing business model that we can help fulfill! To answer your questions, our startup has slowly grown to the point where our passenger vessel is a small but nicely equipped Civilian Ferry, the Democritus class yacht. It has been allowing us moderate volume of passengers as well as some small cargo considerations to increase profits during smaller contracts. Our plans are working toward obtaining "Oasis"-class Passenger Liner once our finances safely allow - that could be a future conversation to see what kind of offers from OS&C's decommissions are available! Our equipment is standard that you'd find on most Sirius Tech type ships - nothing fancy as lower operating costs are foremost in mind when it comes to our fleet maintenance. As for training, we've been in the customer service industry awhile with our crew - there isn't much we haven't had to handle over the many laps of the sector we've undertaken in our journeys. They are adaptable - we don't get many VIPs due to our business model, but many have experienced Freelancer private contracts where higher income clients have needed more non-standard requirements covered. However, again to keep our costs down, including insurance risk, we have played it pretty safe - keeping to the short routes between houses and staying not far from those quick and patrolled trade lanes. We've been to Vespucci a few times - with and without escort - but given our fairly neutral status we thus far have not been 'hassled'. We aren't opposed to the riskier routes - it may give us some opportunities to build up contacts outside our typical circles. I thank you for your Transparency and the information that you gave me. The "Democritus" is a Really good Ship we have Operated a lot of them before we have Switched to the newer "Regent" Class Yachts. The Older "Democritus" is a very robust Ship that will serve you well if you show her the love that she deserves. As for your Request for an Oasis Class Liner, I can tell you that we have indeed a couple of them in Mothball Status that are Up for Sale. But I have to warn you that the Operations of a Liner and a Yacht are 2 Completely different things. Your Crew would need a Re-Training to Operate the Liner, a Ship like the Oasis is way bigger and its Reactor and Systems need to be Carefully Maintained and Calibrated to not Cause any Problems. Such training can be provided by the OS&C Academy on Planet Curacao for a small Price. But such things can be discussed when the time comes that you can afford such a Vessel.
For now, let us go back to Making Money and see what Contracts we have to offer for you. We currently have a couple open that could fit your Skillset and Equipment. All of them are Contracts that are Between the Houses or inside of a House Itself. I will not offer you Borderworlds Contracts as I fear you don't have the experience for this space yet. We even prefer to send our Ships out with a Strong Escort if we fly down there. For now, we have 2 Routes that are open for your business. One short Route from Manhattan over to Planet Curacao. Budget tourists would be coming on holiday or flying back home. The other would be a Route from Manhattan to New Tokyo, this would be a mostly normal inter-house traveler, so Families and business people that aren't Rich or Important enough to fly in a VIP Cabin.
We hope these two routes are what you looking for and should the Results of the Customers about your Service be positive then we will be inclined to give you more Lucrative and Complicated Routes in the Future. We might even be inclined to give you a Discount on one of the Second Hand Oasis Liners that you show interest in.
