Well, I thought it was a little strange that my Brigand Freighter could equip this cannon. I did not try to fly around or actually fire the forward gun. That's just a matter of not being able to afford it. Still, a 2 mil credit craft with equipment like that could be troublesome.
PS- Shouldn't it be a COUNCIL forward gun? All the other weapons differentiate between council and gallic navy.[attachmentid=5647]

Your ship would not have the energy to fire it. Being able to mount them on freighters/transports has happened before on other ships, though I'm not sure if those have been corrected. But in short, don't buy it. Waste of credits.
