Sender ID: CPT Luisa Chiavallati New Jersey has been in active service for a good while now. She has participated in combat operations all around Liberty and against it's numerous enemies. While her performance was, for the most part, satisfactory, however recent intensive deployment revealed one major flaw: Atlantis' proplusion system is not entirely sufficient to move such a massive vessel efficiently, therefore it demands further adjustements. Fortunately, Juneau shipyard has just the right expertise for this occassion. Despite all the atrocities Gallic monarchy under Charles commited - they certainly knew something about shipbuilding, and that includes moving massive lumbering warships, the Valor frame serving a living testament to it. The Carcassone, who has surrendered to Liberty forces when the monarchy fell. Although she is now just a husk of her former formidable strength, it is what provided us with much necessary insight on present issue. I propose petitioning for assistance of Juneau engineers and technicians to combine existing heavy proplusion with Gallic expertise extracted from Carcassone creating a brand new engine system. Main requirements for it will be domestic fuel production, high reliability and accessibility of maintenance as well as matching specifications of the original Arbiter engine. This may require additional calculations but surely it is a trivial task compared to bringing New Jersey back to life. - Luisa Chiavallati Captain Liberty Navy 46th Fleet |
