Rescue report by captain Soto
Objective: Evacuation of the Cairo Station crew

Situation:
The operation was carried out under extremely dangerous circumstances. Everything, including the ship`s interface were alarming not to get into that, but I just changed on silent mode. Order gave a heavy escort even to the smallest ships, which further boosted the morale of the ship's crew.

Sequence of events:

Me, the captain of the merchant ship The Stargazer, Carlos Soto was recruited by a captain with the callsign "Seth" , Hades Brigade ,to take part in a mission to rescue the Cairo Station crew in the Omicron Zeta system. The task was to prepare ship for combat with an unknown enemy. Instructions given were strongly discouraging to engage in combat or take any independent actions that would endanger evacuated personnel.

In the first run, transport was sent to Taba Starbase in the Omicron Mu system. The only available route was through a jumphole, obviously. During mission, along the route from Cairo Station to the jumphole, ship was forced to bypass and ignore combat engagements held nearby, we could see the projectiles flying around and even were "lucky" to face the Nomads, which could scare even the bravest. Fortunetly, The Stargazer was united and determined in accomplishing the mission.

We made several runs before picking up the last batch of evacuees from Cairo Station. The Stargazer, along with several other transports under the cover of warships, was forced to breach the blockade in the last run. Several warships were destroyed in the process, but at the cost of their sacrifice, we were able to save people. Together with rescued, we remained at Taba Starbase until the situation stabilized and crisis went silent, for a while...
