I met him at Malta. I scanned him, he had Destroyer Turrets, but i couldnt see them, even when i was docking and undocking again. He was shooting with them, but i only saw the Lasers. He bought Cruiser Turrets later. I could see them. So there has to be a Problem with the Destroyer Turrets Model.

They are very small. Originally made to fit on the old dessi modle.

Because the language setting is German.

When you look at the first picture you clearly see there are no turrets at all, i accidently bought one once. And i remember seeing it, it was small, but still able to see it.
And yes, i have Freelancer in German, actually German/English, because the game doesnt Translate the Mod

A minor bug probably related to the LOD (level of detail) ranges. For example, if the maximum lod range for the turrets is 100 (imaginary) meters and the camera position, where you look at from is at 101 meters to the turrets, they turn invisible.
Btw, shouldn't it be "Ausgestossene Basis Planet Malta" or did the mod really mix the languages that strange?
I also have germen version, but didn't paid attention to.

I was closer before, i was directly next to him, but i couldnt see any turrets. The picture was taken directly next to him.
And ive seen other turrets at longer range.
And the language is really kinda mixed
Sometimes its really funny, like the Outcasts are saying "Schaumkraut" in the comm

There are two outcast turrets for cruiser class named cruiser turret and destroyer turret. One uses fighter model turrets that were used on old model of outcast dessie. New turrets are larger and they are meant to be used on new destroyer. There is nothing wrong with new models since they were tested many times.
However why there are two types of turrets for cruiser class with in outcast faction i dont know.
