Server Rules Update: 2.3 - EisenSeele - 04-25-2025
Rule 2.3 has been updated so that:
'All IDs can Attack Alien IDs'
is now
'All IDs can Attack Alien IDs, except while flying Cruisers, Battlecruiser, or Battleships.'
Random caps can no longer wander outside of ZOI to attack aliens unless in self defense.

Just one question: Can Aliens attack any ID's while flying a cruiser, Battlecruiser or Battleship? Just to understand.

This update does not impact what alien IDs can do. All of them have different stipulations on where, when, and whom they can shoot - please consult the ID reference to see those conditions.
The only change this rule update makes is that where any human ID ship (Cruiser/BC/BS included) could go about shooting alien IDs anywhere regardless of ZOI. Post update, human ID'd Cruiser/BC/BS outside of ZOI may no longer freely shoot alien IDs except in self defense, or any other additional EXPLICIT condition that permits it.

@Hopewell This is what the alien IDs have as their ZoI and what they can do. I have omitted the Wild Inides and OF IDs cause Indie is snubs/GBs only so not really applicable, and the Das Wilde is Limited Cruiser Access by internal faction running to prevent becoming simply a cruiserspam faction.

Okay, now I understand. I asked because sometimes I still get confused about the meaning of entire sentences and in this case, even though it's short, I had understood that humans would be at a greater disadvantage. That would be terrible, because aliens, even under equal conditions, have a slight advantage in several aspects. But now it's clear to me. It wasn't at all what I started out thinking. Thank you both for clarifying.
