trading - Achenaton01 - 05-05-2025 hello all, I have been exploring for a couple months now. looking to get into trading routes to make some cash. i keep running into empty or full inventory pob bases causing me to lose money instead of profit. is there something i am missing or just not many people maning the pobs these days. just trying to make some cash to pay for some much needed ship upgrades. thank you for your time. lost $2mil because base filled up with only half my cargo. RE: trading - Lusitano - 05-05-2025 the darkstat can help you a lot, you can see up there in the player utiities or here. good luck and have fun ![]() RE: trading - Achenaton01 - 05-05-2025 (05-05-2025, 05:45 PM)Lusitano Wrote: the darkstat can help you a lot, you can see up there in the plaer utiities or here. thank you, i am using darkstat but is there a way to help with running into pobs that are full RE: trading - Lusitano - 05-05-2025 well darkstat shows the stocks and the min and max stck of some pob ... and there is no other way ![]() ![]() RE: trading - Ashyur - 05-05-2025 doing the gold-platinum route would not end up in a situation such as that everything else is to be planned ahead, written down in an excel or peace of paper before flying there , as chances are too high to happen what you described RE: trading - 9th.Legion - 05-05-2025 If you want to make cash with supplying bases, you better focus on Mining the Ore they refine. Example; Delta has a couple of bases that Sell Iridium Ore, they all buy it for a good price. Both with Zoner IFF - Athens and Junktion are the nearest of the Iridium Ore field in Omicron Delta, that humanoid IFF can easily reach without any restrictions. Just undock, click the base and press F9 to check the status of Iridium Ore on both bases, then Mine if they are low on that commodity. Always check the Min/Max stock on both Iridium Ore and Iridium as a commodity. If Iridium Ore is full, you can hop in your transport and haul out the REFINED Iridium. You can haul the Iridium to Galia or Bretonia, both places have commodity on your way back to the Omicrons. From New London you can bring Gold - dont really remember the name of the base, from Dublin at Cocknaht Depot - Wildcat Gold(Pirate Gold - ILLEGAL, Bretonian Police can stop you and make you drop your cargo, which makes this rout ALOT more fun), from Zurich - La Lunar Emporium you can bring Molybdenum(You can sell your Iridium at the Davos Station/Base that has Unioner IFF in Zurich if you dont wanna fly to Ile-de-France or Burgundy). You can also do the Mining part for both locations(Galia and Bretonia) that are refining the products you haul. RE: trading - darkwind - 05-07-2025 @Achenaton01 As anounced there https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=207734&pid=2365758#pid2365758 , i provided extra tools to be better picking routes with sufficient cargo deliverable. Color coded Kilo Volumes column should help. Make sure to pick routes in green section, with at least 20 kilo volumes if u wish reliability to have sufficient cargo available. I minimized page update to the possible minimum, so delay of the page within 1 to 6 minutes now. Assuming that u updated page recently and route has at least 10 minutes to its length, we can assume that as long as no more than one trader runs it, u can expect 40 minutes of trade route validity. If u wish having even more confidence to route sufficient cargo, just pick routes only with 60-100+ kilo volumes only to them Kilo Volumes value accounts for amount of cargo possible to buy from PoB, possible to sell to Pob, left cargo space at Pob, and available money at it Be mindful of this value ![]() In low online hours u could be using more risky, low kilo volumes trade routes. As long as u have no competitors, they should be doable then. ![]() ![]() RE: trading - Achenaton01 - 05-07-2025 (05-07-2025, 12:56 AM)darkwind Wrote: @Achenaton01 awesome thank you |
