New Systems in Discovery - pchwang - 12-26-2006 There are no gates to the new systems, only holes. I found Newcastle, but where the hell are the others supposed to be? Do not worry about spoiling anything. New Systems in Discovery - romer - 12-26-2006 Well...it's called 'Discovery' for a reason... Though I can tell you that some of the jumpholes you'll find are near tradelanes. Some are behind planets, and yet others are out in the middle of nowhere. You just gotta go out and find them... New Systems in Discovery - StrangeCase - 12-26-2006 Use the Patrol Paths function on the starmap. Whenever several patrols cluster together, more often than not there's something of interest there. I'm not 100% on this, but I think upgrading your scanner extends the radius at which your sensors pick up objects like jumpholes, wrecks, and the like. I always thought I noticed a difference, but I don't have any actual proof. Can anyone confirm? New Systems in Discovery - Virus - 12-26-2006 Its true. New Systems in Discovery - Qunitinius~Verginix - 12-26-2006 The new systems though, the oens that have jumpholes, the patrol paths wont go to them because they are new. New Systems in Discovery - BestFlyerHere - 12-27-2006 The NPCs go to the guard systems also, so patrol paths works. I'm not telling with scanner is the best, Igiss got mad already. Srry, Igiss! New Systems in Discovery - Igiss - 12-27-2006 BestFlyerHere or BestSpoilerHere? Who are you? Patrol paths don't lead to guard systems. But most of them are easy to find. Just follow the map and find bases of the app. faction. Somewhere nearby there will be a jump hole (that is particularly true about pirates). Unioners are an exception, however. Their guard entry is located in system with no Unioner bases. New Systems in Discovery - Malaclypse 666 - 12-27-2006 ' Wrote:Unioners are an exception, however. New Systems in Discovery - Spartan-248 - 01-05-2007 The way I do it is to just set waypoints at intervals and go all over the system Eg: A1 to H1, H1 to H2, H2 to A2, A2 to A3, and so on Sure it takes forever, but it works for me |
