*Seraphina walked into her luxury suite aboard the Luxury Liner Shetland a Orbital Spa & Cruise ship with a great deal of history in Bretonia. But it wasn't any normal luxury suite it was the Prime Minister Suite reserved only for government officials, foreign dignitary's, the ultra rich, famous or people of notable importance.

Seraphina felt like a phony being in this room. Less than a week ago she was a refugee with no family, no money, no resources and very little hope. But very little hope was much better than the total despair she had been living in ever since waking up from her coma years before in Rhineland.

She had bounced around from hospital to hospital, refugee camp to refugee camp. Only once she had been lucky enough to end up, funny enough, she mused to herself on a Orbital Spa & Cruise ship called the Queen Britannia, only then had she started to have a sliver of hope in life. But that was almost dashed out by a virus outbreak onboard that had originated at the refugee camp on Planet Holstein.

Although everyone was sick and dying she had enjoyed the change of scenery at least. How depressing is that she thought to herself?

The next morning after decontamination and medicine administered to all passengers and staff with full recovery of all effected, thanks to the timely actions of Captain James Robinson the OS&C Captain that reached out to Med Force. Captain Robinson then had a new problem to deal with, Seraphina despaired at the memory. People were so afraid they were going to be sold into slavery and this was all some big trick. Again Robinson was making calls and this time it was to the Bretonia Armed Forces and The Civil Defence Force. She had to admit she was equally relieved to see the authority's arrive to escort them into Bretonia to Planet Carlisle. From there she spent the last six months at a poorly equipped and resourced refugee camp.

With no luck applying for local jobs she had turned her luck back out to the stars, but these were not the stars of some foreign land, these were Bretonian stars and having any job had to be better than her current situation. She had felt she should draw from the strength of her past work experience even if it was a life time ago now.

The camps communication centre was crowded, fast paced and busy she recalled. She had decided to change things up and use her time on the network to search for Jobs off world. She was drawn to a logo of a company called Bretonia Mining Corporation... there was something about the logo. It looked like something her brother used to scribble when he was young.
But he was dead, they were all dead, there was no way they had made it out of Edinburgh.

God she had just barely survived and payed a heavy price for it. So many years in that coma. I was robbed she again thought to herself as she continued to recall everything that had lead her up to this point. She had been upset, heart broken and angry when she started to fill in that Job application. She had registered herself six months ago when she had landed to the Bretoinan Government. No information had been forwarded to her about her family status. With no word from government officials she took that to simply mean they were dead and she wasn't important enough to get back to. So she was going to rebuild by herself dam it! and dam them for leaving me here!

Thank god I applied, Seraphina thought gratefully as she sat down at the beautiful desk, it was warm, wooden and well leather lined, a work station no doubt for Prime Minsters and the like whom would of sat here before her to run whole nations. She was having trouble figuring out how to even start to explain what she had been through but If anyone might understand it was her Brother. The man who had stood all night long waiting for her and had refused to leave even after sun fell and rose.

It was time to put pen to paper as it were and tell Jock how he had found her from her perspective.*

Jock,

I would like to open up to you about how you found me and how I felt. I will tell you more over time but right now I feel its important to tell you this, here is a bit of my story and then my thoughts and feelings about what happened and whats going on right now to Bretonian Refugees and what they need.

I was out washing my clothes. Well the best I can anyway. With all the dust being kicked up in the air from the children of the camp running around and the wind blowing up the leaves and dirt. Its only a small clearing with a little water whole that we share to wash our stuff, with two ropes tied to some trees to make a clothing line.

I stood up and dusted myself off. Then picked up my favourite blue knit sweater, one of the only personal clothing items I had left. Made by our mother who loved to sew and knit.
It had a tear In the neck that I fixed up a bit. I could never be apart without it, even though it had seen better days.

I hung it up next to two other pieces of clothing. Then looked over as my name was called by one of the other refugees.
I smiled at Maranda. She is a grandmotherly woman with light grey hair pulled back in a knot. She took me in and helped me out when I first arrived there.

I looked over to her and smiled at her and told her "I'm here Randa. Just got one more thing to hang up."
Maranda, had walked up to me.

She had lightly tapped my arm. speaking softly to me replied "No problem Phina."
The only other person who called me that was you my brother. But I thought you were gone. I thought you were all gone. Mum & Dad and you Jock. I always missed you all so dearly and every day.

*Tears came to Seraphinas eyes now as she recalled and tears came to her back then also talking to Maranda but she had quickly blinked them away when she realized Maranda was still talking to her.*

"..so now it's your turn. Your next to check your messages if you like. Because we won't be able to again until possibly tomorrow." Maranda had informed me.

I had nodded my head and thanked her "Thanks yes I will go check. Don't think I will hear anything back yet but I will go see."
I said goodbye to Maranda, and headed to the little shack/cabin that was set up for communications devices.

I remember this day so clearly and will hold on to these memory's forever, I had looked up as I was walking and
saw a beautiful green dragonfly fly by. Usually that means a sign of luck. A slight shiver had gone through me and went all down my arms as the wind kicked up a bit more.

A ball was kicked near my feet and I bent down to pick it up. I look up and see one of the children, a boy of about seven maybe eight. He was very shy.
I bent down to his height and handed him the ball. "Here you go Johnny." I smile at him. "That was my brothers name you know?" I had said to him. He had nodded his head with a quick jerk and a smile then took off towards the other kids.

*Seraphinas eyes had filled up with tears once more. She had really wished she could go home.*

I carried on to the cabin and when I got to the door I had to open it carefully, as it had been damaged by one of the wind storms we have had.

I walked to the single desk with the monitor and other devices around the table. Sat down and logged on. I pulled up my messages. Not expecting to find anything. Then am shocked as I see my name.
I clicked on the message and I began to read. And to my shock and surprise it was a letter from you Jock. My brother.
Telling me you and our parents are alive and that your gonna come get me.

I was so shocked when I realized the timing. You were there!
I stood up and quickly bolted out the door. I looked around to find Jarvis, hes a big tall bear of a man. A kind man. He was the one to see about transportation. I ran up to him. Grabbing his arm desperately. Tears in my eyes. His shaggy dark hair blowing in the wind around his face. His dark warm brown eyes looking to me confused and worried.
"Seraphina? What's wrong? " he had asked me as he looked around thinking someone was chasing me. I laughed and shock my head, and stumbled on my words, telling him " My..my brother....hes here....he's alive. He wants me to meet him. Please. Can you take me to him?"

Jarvis smiled and nodded his head and told me with a mirrored shocked look on his face "I will take you to him. Come." He lead the way to his dark blue, dusty run down utility vehicle. He got into the driver seat. I looked down at myself. I was rough from the weather and the environment all wet and dirty.
I was wearing a hand-me-down dark shirt with some holes in it. Feeling dirt on my face and knowing I don't look very clean. I shook my head not caring. I just want to see you Jock.

I got in the car beside Jarvis. My hands were shaking and I was so nervous. Jarvis, patted my hand in comfort as he started to drive. He told me "It will be alright. If your brother is there he will find us. Or we find him."
I nodded my head while looking out my side of the window. Knowing that message came in yesterday. You would have been here all night waiting for me I realized.

I turned as I saw a man out of the window. A tall man. Holding up a flag. I looked at his rugged face and I knew. It was you Jock
Tears flew down my face. "That's him!" I shouted to Jarvis.

I then jumped out of the vehicle before it could stop. I heard Jarvis breaks go on and heard Jarvis call out to me. But I just couldn't wait. I waited far too long already. Thinking to myself I would never see my family again.
The sand and stones kicked up off the ground as I ran my hardest to get to you.

I saw you Jock look at me in surprise. Then I saw your big smile on that handsome manly face of yours!
We were no more then in our mere twenties the last time we saw each other but I knew it was you. Running past other Refugees who were watching. Some who had been talking to you, who were now just watching.

I ran with my whole heart and soon as I got close enough I threw myself at you into your waiting arms. I'll never forget what I said to you "Jock! Oh my God your alive!" Tears pouring down my face and off my chin.

It was the happiest day of my life.

I want to give some of my wages to the refugees, refugees just like Maranda and Jarvis. They all need our help Jock please help them like you helped me. I don't know what would of happened to me if you hadn't found me. Thank you for the accommodation you have arranged for me, its like being in heaven. I am also grateful you have taken me on and are training me. I know you have been giving me time but I think now that I'm put back together it is time for me to see our parents.

Bretonian Refugees & Picking Up Family

Phina,

You wouldn't know this place but its a family home I bought Mum and Dad shortly after moving back to Bretonia with my family. Its a lovely Cabin on Planet Cambridge, its quite here just the sounds of nature. There is a village not too far away from here and my family lives in this area also, so I've been wondering if maybe you might want to move to this area as well? I have found some places that you might like...failing that ill just have something built for you.

I broke the news to them that you are alive and well as gently as I could and they are desperate to come see you.
They are old and frail but in good health and still sharp in their minds. So smart, I got a tongue lashing why I had not brought you to them immediately. But hey you needed time and I had to make sure of some things. Oh yeah btw I heard from another old mate of mine Duncan Davion, he said he went to see you? He told me you are okay, So that is very good news.

Now I have broken the news to our parents and your all checked out and ready to go and doing well and integrating back into society and as you said you are ready. I'm going to bring them to you, sleep on it and we will see you in the morning.

As for the Refugees Phina, after about 1 min at that camp I made the decision to do something about it. I'm still working on setting up the company. Its a huge corporation and operation we are running here, you might have noticed I had to hire some service droids to help fill the gaps in the work force ? Well they are doing such a good job I just might keep them on permanently.

I give you my word I have been having some behind the scenes talks with important people. My intention is to setup a charity fund to help our people and to work with a couple of organizations to see to the suffering of our people. Bretonia is stretched thin Phina, there's the threats you see every day in Dublin and then there are unseen, unheard of problems that you don't want to know about love. Some you will see as you carry on learning the ropes at BMC. Some you are not going to see because I'm going to bloody well keep you away from them because that's my Job as your boss and your big brother and other things. So anyway I suspect the government is so sluggish because its just so overwhelmed.

But that's where we come in, I have the power to act and act I will I promise you. Give me some time and we will help those people get back on their feet. They could work for BMC even. I'm looking at securing Refugees abroad for repatriation, medical treatment and reintegration into Bretoina.

Anyway now I have to go, we will talk more about this later. Mum and Dad are eager to get going and I don't want to keep Welsh waiting either.

Yes Hello,

Well lets get to it shall we, I have some information for you that you might find rather intriguing? Either way old boy I'm going to need you to upload this information to company HQ... and on the double.

There's more here than meets the eye but that will have to wait until I am back in person. For now this should suffice and give our miners a better Idea of what they are heading into instead of just flying blind.

On the matter of interstellar objects, competitors and some of the more rather nasty installations I found, I've encrypted the location of some of these places of interest shall we say. All one has to do is simply input their employee password and voila.
Without your passwords its going to appear rather blank I'm afraid.

Glasgow Outpost - Reconstruction - Phase II

To All Bretonia Mining Corporation Employees

Congratulations, this very morning myself and Tink Campbell Captain of the Golden Fairy from the Transport Division arrived back to Glasgow Outpost to find the station had completed all phase one installations. All elements of the reconstruction process for this phase are complete. In phase one we looked to the instalment of two Bulk Storage Modules and one Hydroponics Bay for life support. We have also hired additional crew 250 extra support personnel for the station bringing our crew compliment for the Outpost to 450 with just over half of them being former Bretonian Refugees, and may I add many of them were former residences of the Leeds System itself, God bless them.

Moving forward we will look to install every single thing that Glasgow lost. She will be restored, we will not fail. What can be salvaged from her wreckage is being salvaged, what can not be salvaged is being sourced from the very same stone from which she came.

Today is a good day for Bretonia and us all. I am deeply grateful for your hard work and the nation is behind you. Keep up the good work.

Glasgow Outpost - Reconstruction - Phase III

To All Bretonia Mining Corporation Employees

Phase Three is complete. This was the most extensive phase yet. The station is now capable of mounting nine modules and all modules have been constructed and mounted into place. A heavy thanks goes to our Transport Division, Security Wing for keeping us safe and supplied.

I'd like to thank our new regional partners for the supply's they have been bringing to help in the reconstruction efforts. I'd also like to thank Lady Biscuit - Security Wing , Seraphina Stewart - Mining Division for joining me today in a operation in the Leeds System, Often we are all normally so busy and as a such it was nice to have gathered for a small group photo thank you.

Hydroponics Bay

The Hydroponics Bay will allow us to be self sustaining and grow our own food. Glasgow will however require shipments of extra Water & now Fertilizers. She will indeed truly Flourish!

This Laboratory will allow us to mine, harvest and collect exotic and critical materials that our customers need. Providing and creating a Leeds System resource centre for these materials.

Phase IV

Moving forward into Phase four we will be looking to secure contracts for trade and return some of the more larger salvageable iconic parts from the Glasgow wreck and make her whole once again.
