Launcher not connecting - Kdawg1990 - 06-21-2025
I cannot connect to the discovery patch server, nothing seems to have changed my end but the connect just spins around and then i get these errors. F01 time out and F02 additional information. Could not find file tmp777b.tmp
i have done a clean install of both freelancer and discovery mod and it still occurs. any help thanks

Can you check your launcherconfig.xml in the discovery folder if it has this entry? <RemotePatchLocation>http://patch.discoverygc.com/</RemotePatchLocation>

I had the same error for months, turned out my isp was blocking the domain automatically for some reason

Hi, sorry been away, i can access the website and it does have that entry. but for some reason the launcher is working again, must have been an isp issue??? thanks for the help
