Where Eagles Dare
Background
The INS Arcturus, recovered by Task Force Prometheus, is in dire shape following five years without drydock and an engagement at Tijuana Freeport. Barely jury rigged for transit, she precariously limps back to Inverness after undergoing the most patchwork of repairs in Vespucci. The Republic of Liberty, possessing numerous spy satellites in the system, has caught sight of Arcturus and has laid a trap to be sprung in Cortez, aiming to cripple the already wounded vessel for good.

Combat will begin when the Arcturus exits the Corcovado field, and end when - or if - she enters the Orellana Ice Field surrounding the Coronado Jump Hole.
While Navy forces will be unable to destroy Arcturus, they will be able to substantially delay repairs to the vessel. It has already been agreed upon that full restoration of the battleship will take at least a year from the previous recovery event, which took place on June 15th. This means that the earliest the Arcturus could be restored with a Promethean victory is June 15th, 2026. With a Navy victory, that date will be moved back three months further, to September 15th 2026.
All loadouts are currently permitted, but announce if you are bringing a missile loadout so that the other side can prepare and respond accordingly.

Roster
Pilot skill will be factored in this event. A @L1ght will not be weighted the same as a @Nodoka Hanamura, for example. Allowed ships will be limited to fighters and gunships. Please announce exactly what class you will be bringing. Slots can potentially be expanded depending on what event turnout looks like. I had originally wanted to include cruisers, but after looking into it on the TFP/Aux side, it seems doubtful that we'll be able to field any. If this changes, we could consider it.
