2. What exactly are you requesting?:
I am requesting that the character Thallia Thorn be given three elements:
- An ID line so that they can attack ships listed as hostile within The Guardian Protocol post.
- I also wish to ask that that character is allowed to post bounties against individuals or groups listed as hostile on this post. It cannot claim it's own bounties.
- Be set as hostile to AI and be allowed to attack AI vessels (much in the same manner that one can attack alien ships).

4. Why is this request necessary for the continuation of this character's roleplay?:
This request is necessary for the continuation of the characters roleplay as it allows the character to more appropriately interact with, defend themselves against, and proactively act on dangerous situations during her research. Currently, on a Freelancer ID, the character cannot act in dangerous situations without being engaged first. This makes sense for a majority of characters, but doesn't make sense when the other party is a known risk to the character's goals. The character has had a history of having unpleasant interactions with many parties across Sirius whilst on their journeys, and I believe the character would now take this more proactive (paranoid?) stance to protect herself and her work.
5. What short-term and long-term goals are you planning to achieve on this character?:
My short-term goals for the character is to continue investigating Earhart, Uncharted systems, and any/all sites in Sirius related to Alien or AI factions. I wish to write survey and pseudo-scientific posts exploring these sites and the details they may offer. I plan to do so in a way that shall generate intrigue and curiosity with other players, and hopefully spin up some rp in and around these aspects of the game.
With regards to the SRP, I wish to use the Guardian Protocol as both a means to encourage some more interaction from those who would meddle with Thallia's research, as well as give more roleplay to Freelancers and Bounty Hunter types from an established client. Unless the other character does something truly egregious, my intention is to slowly ramp up characters through classifications so that there is a clear and storied reason as to why there is hostility. I suspect that some of the topics or items Thallia will reserach will attract the attentions of other more powerful groups who may try to stop her or claim or items or research. Which could be fun!
In the short term I plan to add an additional research vessel (a Dunlin) at her disposal. I do not plan to add a military vessel to her assets.
In the long-term, I hope that these endeavours may lead to the exploration of the trials and tribulations of being an independent researcher in a house dominated Sirius. The friends made along the way, but also the unwanted attention and likely intervention of House Interests and other parties. My hope is, at some point, the character may become a character for intelligence agencies to interact with if they're interested.

This character has been building it's backstory for a long time, and the earlier post I have of this anti-AI/protective sentiment I have is from 08/2026 in this thread, last post. I've been leaning into it ever since.

4. Why are these changes necessary?:
This is a Dunlin Retrofit Explorer that Thallia Thorn has procured via the ship-seller character Larry Lancer. Her intention is to use it for expeditions that require more space and hardware than the Voyager can provide, carry any goods that she requires for her work/experiments, and otherwise vibe on as a home in space.
I would like to still act on the Guardian Protocol lines, as well as "prove" the character is Thallia Thorn at the helm, whilst playing the transport.
