Bug: Unable to see more than 3 ships in the ship dealer

Reproduction Steps:
  • Go to a base that has more than 3 ships on sale.
  • Only the first 3 ships show up with no interface to show more.

Additional Information: Fresh install of Windows 11, and of Freelancer + Discovery.

Did you enable d3d8to9 whilst going through the Discovery installer? This is not likely to be a matter of server config

I didn't see such an option in the Discovery installer. The only checkbox was the one to enable bloom.

P.S. I used [Server Config] because I didn't know what else to put, none of the other options were relevant.

Ah, I think we may have not fully released the latest launcher. Try putting https://github.com/crosire/d3d8to9/releases/download/v1.12.0/d3d8.dll in your FL EXE directory.

I have already tried this, as posted here yesterday https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=208233&pid=2371380#pid2371380. I installed the DirectX End-User Runtime (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 ) as instructed in the d3d8to9 github repo, but it says "DirectX setup has determined that a newer or equivalent version of DirectX has been installed already. No installation is necessary." Then when trying to boot the game i still get the error below:

Yep, I've also tried that before, but I'm still getting the same error. No luck.

Also, this is the error I get if I click OK on the dialogue box from the previous post.

To be clear, after it prompted you for where to put the files and you let it write the files somewhere, you did then go to the folder specified and run the DXSETUP.exe file right?

Yep, I ran it and it said it was successfully installed. I also rebooted, still nothing.
