Esteemed Admiralty of the Bretonian Armed Forces,

I shall first take this opportunity to introduce myself, seeing as this is the first time I have the honor to officially contact you. I am Vice Admiral Maria Uhmen of the Liberty Navy Forty-Sixth Fleet, commanding officer of Task Force Akhetaten. While it has been six years since the last time the Forty-Sixth Fleet got in touch with the Armed Forces regarding the matter which I am about to bring up, I trust that the alliance between Bretonia and Liberty is just as honored as it was back then, during the dire times of the Insurgency campaign.

You are likely not aware of this, but I very recently contacted the Liberty Government myself in order to request certain permissions for not only the Akhetaten but also the assigned task force that allow us to operate independently, away from Liberty space. Our goal, of course, remains unchanged; to keep the Republic's enemies in check and to ensure that the alien threat does not grow any bigger.

Task Force Akhetaten has, ever since, been separated into Task Group Akhetaten One and Task Group Akhetaten Two. The former is the battlegroup which focuses on operations away from Liberty while the latter is tasked with remaining within Liberty and operating under standard Forty-Sixth Fleet mandate. With the Akhetaten naturally spearheading Group One, the matter of the battlecruiser's defense is of utmost importance to the Navy, now more than ever. The task force's fleet is in need of an upgrade, and I believe what we're looking for can be found by looking no further than the Armed Forces.

With the above in mind, I seek to reinforce Task Force Akhetaten's fleet by the acquisition of two Agincourt-class Bretonian destroyers which, if approved for deployment, will be used to boost Task Group One's effectiveness in the operations it will be deployed in.

Of course, the Forty-Sixth Fleet is in the position to supply the Armed Forces with an equal amount of either our own Archer-class cruisers or monetary compensation for the two requested destroyers.

I will be at your disposal, esteemed Admirals, let me know what your thoughts are on the matter. I hope we can further continue the decades-long coordination between us and see this deal through successfully.
