Good day Mister Parcella,

Your confusion is understandable, it's not a common thing, Someone unknown reaching out asking for a such a rare research item which holds high value to the Core as it was unearthed on a planet in the Omicrons. And to correct you on one thing; While the Starfliers are mainly known to be Explorers in the sense of Charting and Cartography, we are also in the process of internal progression. You can only collect "that" much data via only looking at things after all.

What we want to do with "it" is simple so I will give you a rough line on our current plans:

Artificial Personality Fragment - Program

As it's plain to see, we as a research group want to study. What possibly could help us understand Sirius better than something that has been here before the houses arrived here.
You do not need to make any adjustments such as Interfaces, limited learning or power. Your, and forgive me for my choice of words, "funny hullabaloo" is not something we shy away from. It's all "funny hullabaloo" when you are moving in spaces so devoid of light that each and every hardpoint on your ship's hull cannot even create enough visiual energy to help you find your way back into civil space and all you have is your own rough incomplete 3d data while all asteroids are clad black. I rather hear myself and my co-workers scream in annoyance in the laboratory than trying to get any signal when you are lost. And with our work that comes quite frequent.

Hopefully this did shed some light on our request and it's intentions. I will add that we are willing to frequently share data with the Core in our own pursuit if you are willing to "take" this "commission".

I assume your "blackout" had it's reasons.

I will repeat myself; I need a minimum of 1 AI Personality Core Fragment, the more the better with a maximum of 50.
It's not about your rebuild reconfigured products, it's about those little "toys" that are flying around like a hornet swarm in Kappa. Those with no human signature to them.
No repairs, just their leftovers best stuffed in a box of lead that no signals get out if anything is still pulsating.

I assume APM and Core did some development with them, at least if the rumours can be trusted.
