Overview

As Rock Corporation has learned, an attempt to stage a military coup is brewing within the ranks of the Sirius Coalition. Some representatives in the armed forces command have deemed it expedient to come under the control of the nomads. They believe that this will give them the opportunity and strength to achieve a new order and move humanity to a new stage of development. For several months now, a group of conspirators has been recruiting new members in the armed forces command. Those who disagreed were quietly eliminated, with their deaths disguised as accidents, or sent on deliberately impossible missions. If by some miracle they managed to return, they were killed on their way home.

Using secret developments by Rheinland scientists obtained from a destroyed research frigate, they began developing a device to manipulate human behavior. The lack of technology and competent specialists meant that when the device was activated, all people within its range lost all feelings except anger. This led to everyone trying to destroy everyone else.
The incident at the Dargo base ruined all the plans of the Followers. Now it was no longer a question of seizing power. They had been exposed, and it would only be a matter of time before all the conspirators were identified. They decided to leave the Coalition and head to the Omicrons, hoping to hide there and join the ranks of the Nomad followers.
The Coalition fleet command learned of the Followers' gathering place and route of retreat. Forces stationed in the Dresden system, together with allied Red Hessian units, were ordered to intercept and destroy the rebels.
At the same time, Rheinland intelligence detected the deployment of large Coalition and Red Hessian forces and, lacking full information about what was happening, assumed an attack on their internal systems and deployed combat groups in neighboring systems and assembled a fleet on alert.

A joint battlegroup of the Sirius Coalition and the Red Hessians infiltrated the Thuringia system in order to obtain secret technology from one of the abandoned wrecks of the Rheinland Military research installations.

At the same time, Rheinland intelligence detected the deployment of large Coalition and Red Hessian forces and, lacking full information about what was happening, assumed an attack on their internal systems and deployed combat groups in neighboring systems and assembled a fleet on alert.
