RE: To: Phoenix Zoners - Soban - 07-28-2025 ![]() Greetings Miss TERBLANCHE, I've reviewed your proposal, and at this stage, I’m afraid it doesn’t present a compelling opportunity for us. Allow me to elaborate. First, as you're aware, House corporations restrict our access to their installations when using larger transports. This forces us to rely on frigate-class vessels to work around those limitations—costing us both time and fuel. Second, we already have established buyers offering better prices at comparable distances. To be specific, we currently receive 229 credits per unit elsewhere. Lastly, if we were to deliver iridium to your base, we’d need a viable return cargo to justify the trip. While optronics have their uses on occasion, and platinum is always in demand but your current rates make that option economically unappealing. In contrast, a straightforward route to Bristol in Galileo and back remains significantly more profitable. And just a few days ago, we struck a deal with a Junker in Magellan offering 250 credits per unit—further raising the bar. Should your terms change in the future or new opportunities arise, we remain open to discussion. Jonathan Cayran, out. ![]() |
