From what I'm aware of from my admittedly slightly removed position, the fighting's kinda come to a standstill and we're not making much progress at the moment. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the resistance as a whole is scattered and having trouble organizing into a cohesive coalition force. I know that the PLF is around, and there are some other scattered groups, but if we're gonna make progress, we're going to need to organize. I've got ideas about how we can proceed forward. Way I see it, there're a couple of key steps that we need in order to make progress. First: we gotta set up a coalition communications channel. If we can't coordinate with each other, we fail before we even start, 'cuz disorganized resistance is more of a thorn than a force for change. We gotta start talking to each other, sharing plans and intelligence, and coordinating our attacks. I can obviously coordinate things over on my end with the New Dawn, but we're only one force outta the coalition. Don't think I need to spell out why it's important for us all to be involved. Second: we gotta set up a forward operating base. I'm sure we all got our own homes we like to work out of, but we need somewhere on the front lines to share that we can all agree to rally around and use for shared supplies, stage our attacks from, and use for meetings. I've heard recently that Pinnacle Outpost is up and running, but that it needs supplies. If we can salvage that and keep it afloat, that would be the perfect place for us to base out of as a whole. I know the New Dawn's a relative newcomer on the scene in some ways--we've been dormant for a while, and haven't done much in the way of communicating with other militants. I know this means y'all might be hesitant to take direction from me. But the situation's urgent now. If we don't start moving fast, then Liberty's gonna consolidate their presence on Erie and fortify. They're never gonna be more vulnerable than they are right now this second. Now's the time to hit them fast and hard--disrupt their logistics, sabotage their garrisons, you name it. We gotta keep them from getting comfortable enough to successfully lock down Erie. What I wanna see from allied coalition forces in this channel is a head count. Tell everyone who you are, how big your force is, and roughly what you're able and willing to contribute to the cause. Once all of that is out of the way, we can start designating priority targets and making a concerted effort toward freeing Pennsylvania. To that end, as a representative of the New Dawn, I can report that we've got about a squadron of fighters, a squadron of bombers, a fair number of logistical and support ships, and finally our Bustard-class carrier. The carrier's not combat-ready at the moment--apart from needing repairs and refitting, she's also got a bunch of civilian families onboard, which we can't risk getting killed in the fighting. However, a good number of our fighter pilots are experienced ex-Freelancers and the like. If we deploy strategically and with allied support, then there's a lot that we can get done with guerilla strikes. We'll happily collaborate with any other forces to take out targets of opportunity, provide logistical support, and coordinate strategy and tactics. To the non-combatant Zoners in the system: I know you don't wanna get dragged into this fight, and I'm not gonna ask you to do it. What I'd like to request from you, if you're willing, is twofold. First, keep us up to date on how the civilian population is doing. Tell us how they're feeling, where they need most protection, and what we can do best to help in the form of blockade running, relief supplies, and so on. Second... Just keep them hopeful. Keep them from giving into despair. This is gonna get harder before it gets easier, I'm not gonna lie. But what we're doing here is important--not just for the people of Erie, but Zoners everywhere. We have to make sure that Liberty can't get away with this so that it never happens again anywhere else. Stay safe. And to those of you out there fighting: good hunting. $Solatra@NinthWind >> return Neural Net Protocol: Process terminated. $Solatra@NinthWind >> logout RE: TO: Pennsylvania Zoners and Militants, and Allies - Cherry Blossom - 08-13-2025 ![]() ![]() | Private Connection Established

"In the past, our movement has already assisted Militant-forces against the tyranny of Liberty. The Bundschuh, or at least we of the Platform, do not approve of the actions Liberty has taken against the free people of Pennsylvania. A decision was made to increase our presence and intensify our assistance. We shall stand united against such tyranny.
The Platform has already deployed the Desperation, a Bustard-class carrier within Liberty, carrying several squadrons of bomber and fighter craft. In addition to that, several cruiser-class vessels have been deployed alongside it, including my own ship, the Falkenhorst. Additionally to military aid, we will also deploy several supply-crafts in the future to assist with and what we can. Our aid-channel is open whenever you need further assistance. You are not alone, you never are. We stand by your side." Regards - "Falke" Cell of the 'Damnatio Memoriae' The Ghost of the Rhein ![]() | Port Closed

Name: "Civil Servant" IFF/ID: The Platform Encryption access: Custom Location: Pinnacle Station Subject: Warfront "Salutations freedom fighters, I am Civil Servant, a Commander of the Platform anarchist paramilitary, cell of the 'Damnatio Memoriae'. I'll be helping with co-ordination between our parties since I suppose we're opening up more than just arms here, this is a future worth fighting for, the Bundschuh are a visiting party in this space but we know the fight is similar to the ones we've faced at home.
"As my compatriot has said before, we're willing to send over fighters and advisors on the Military front, and many of us have experience in ensuring a state power 'feels the burn' of wielding territories they're no longer welcome in, but how that burn is applied when unrest is at breaking point? We want them to trip on their own blades... So I have an idea.
"Logistics is the other half to fighting a battle, I know wars are only fought as well as the equipment those have in their hands can match the fury that their will wishes to deliver, Liberty is about to face a potential fuel shortage and that may hit the Eire resistance too. "On top of what 'Counterpoint' has mentioned, the GMG control a monopoly of fuel exports and third-party distribution is managed by a majority of Kusari corporations, but this conflict brewing in the Northen Independent-systems may result in Rheinland and its corporate's as the new lifeline for fuel routes into Liberty but pass the increased cost of transport to 'the consumer'. We ourselves have some form of domestic production on our station named Bielefeld, so we're willing to supplement what we can to the resistance to ensure that the burden of a fuel embargo doesn't hit our combat fleets and civilian populace. "We need to cause an emergency crisis. The Navy and Corporate's are likely to respond with an immediate ramp up in production as they bleed money, so I suppose our first objective is seeing what arteries we can cut and then siphon both fuel and equipment from. We don't know the land as well as you, so this would be me asking the Free Pennsylvania Militias if this would sound like a good plan that you support? "Any intelligence of notable targets would also be appreciated, Fuel depots, refueling hubs and planet side pipelines. I'll keep in touch if our cells can conduct some plans." Neural Net Protocol: Channel located. Neural Net Protocol: Initializing stream. ![]() Civil Servant, I agree with you completely. As far as I see it, there are two major points to hit. First: we gotta keep their attention split. We need the Navy focused on Kusari if we wanna make the most headway in Pennsylvania. Second: fighting them in the open's a suicide mission, so we gotta stick to our advantages in the short term. Strike hard, strike fast, strike where they're weak. Without more numbers we're gonna struggle to pull it off, so we need to make the most of what we've got. The New Dawn's already identified a couple of weak points in Pennsylvania. The biggest one that we know is a large storage depot at the jump gate--we believe that this is a refueling and supply stop for local warships in the system. It has no static defenses, but it's deep in a cloud full of asteroids. That being said, a team of fighters and small craft could run in with some ordnance, rupture the tanks, and get out again. If the tanks are full of fuel, then this'll cripple local force projection in the system. Getting a bit more intel would be good here. Another set of weak points are DSE's storage depots throughout the system. From reconnaissance we determined that there's a line of 'em going all the way from Erie to Tremont, one next to each trade lane ring in construction. Those are also pretty vulnerable, and since they're smaller targets they're easier to harass. What I wanna gauge is whether it's better to start harassing immediately or if we should hold our hand until we can take out the big target at the gate. If they heighten security because of attacks of opportunity, it might make it harder to take out the big one. However, they're prolly gonna heighten security no matter what we do, and sitting around doing nothing at all doesn't get much done. If we're gonna hold until we take out the storage satellite, we gotta move everyone now to get in position. The New Dawn's already redeploying our militia to Pinnacle Outpost as a staging area. Some generous donations have enabled us to acquire a Fearless-class destroyer and a Conference-class gunboat from the Zoners of Baffin, and we've got one more gunboat in position to make for a solid element. We're lacking crew to deploy the Fearless openly just yet, but we're working on that through a recruitment campaign. Another idea posed by one of the other militia members was that we could try intercepting a prison transport as it's leaving Erie--maybe disrupting the tradelane on the way to New York. That'd get us a bunch of sympathizers very quickly, and might allow us to field way more pilots and fully crew our warships without much turnaround time. All in all, in complete agreement with you. But whatever crisis we cause, we gotta be in position to make sure we can give relief supplies to the civilians on Erie. We've got logistics vessels on standby, and blockade runners. Just gotta plan things out accordingly. I'll be meeting with Doc Holliday soon, and once I get his thoughts I'll have a more concrete plan for that. $Solatra@NinthWind >> return Neural Net Protocol: Process terminated. $Solatra@NinthWind >> logout RE: TO: Pennsylvania Zoners and Militants, and Allies - Nodoka Hanamura - 08-15-2025

Neural Net Protocol: Channel located. Neural Net Protocol: Initializing stream. ![]() Major Kobayashi, whatever targets we hit, they gotta be soft and easy to take out. Trade lanes are easy to disrupt temporarily, but hard to disable permanently, given how hardened all the components are. Coordinating a disruption with when we make the strike on the satellite would be the ideal play here, so that's a great idea. Liberty's biggest strength is their response time, so anything we can do to delay that gives us a crucial edge. It goes without saying that this would be an extremely dangerous mission for the pilots doing the disruption, though, since they'd have to fight off the arriving forces, or at least keep them pinned down. They'd have to be fully prepared to give their lives to buy time for others. If we can get any volunteers for that, though, then it'll make a huge difference, especially if we can get enough to space them out along the rings. Sequentially disrupting the lanes would give us even more time, and tie up the forces very asymmetrically--even one pilot could keep them tied up if they disrupt a ring, go to cruise, and then fly to the next to take it out. The other risk is that pilots might come from the other side of the gate, from West Point, but this is prolly a bit less of a risk given the lag with interstellar comms. Alma's definitely going to be the biggest asset they've got to manage this with. Get me a list of volunteers for the mission. If we can assemble a good squadron of fighters and bombers, we'll have enough force to accomplish our objectives with the time we'll have. But get that to me soon. We don't need perfect, we just need good enough. $Solatra@NinthWind >> return Neural Net Protocol: Process terminated. $Solatra@NinthWind >> logout RE: TO: Pennsylvania Zoners and Militants, and Allies - Nodoka Hanamura - 08-15-2025

Neural Net Protocol: Channel located. Neural Net Protocol: Initializing stream. ![]() Major Kobayashi, the problem with this is that the other side of the gate is the AO. By the time they come out they're already in the fight. We can try to deploy cruisers and gunboats to meet them, but the more forces we commit the more delicate this operation becomes, especially with the field making capital ship deployment difficult. If we deploy capital ships, they're more vulnerable, 'cuz they won't be able to extract cleanly in the way that fighters could. We would be playing to their strengths, not ours. We could potentially deploy some gunboats, but even that feels like a bad idea to me given the circumstances. If you've got ideas for how we could ensure they're able to make a clean getaway though, by all means, lay it on me. I just ain't confident in committing that kind of valuable asset when it would be so easy to lose them. $Solatra@NinthWind >> return Neural Net Protocol: Process terminated. $Solatra@NinthWind >> logout |
