I ran into one of yours in an unexplored system which borders Vespucci and Omega-7. I've heard of your organization during my previous employment--though my former department never worked with any of your people. I thought it prudent to send the data I've obtained to another to other "explorers" for safe keeping--you never know what you might run into out here in the black after all and it would be a shame to lose anything I discover. Another exploration group seemed the logical choice at this juncture.

You will find attached all of the data that I've sourced so far. It's encrypted in a read-only channel so don't bother trying to manipulate it--it's also timestamped to my own personal code so don't dream of claiming you discovered it on your own. Plagiarism in the scientific community is frowned upon after all.

It would seem after the past few days of Ion storms, things have changed in the Omegas yet again. I would strongly recommend you take one of your teams out that way and see what you can find. Watch this space, should I find anything additional that might peak your interest, I might send it along.
