Big ships sometimes unable to enter tradelanes - procdrone - 08-28-2025

Type: Systems
Bug: Big ships sometimes unable to enter tradelanes
Reproduction Steps:
  • Step 1 - own a big ship, in my case, it's the Oasis Passenger Liner
  • Step 2 - Order your ship to dock with a tradelane
  • Step 3 - Ship approaches the tradelane and gets into proper position, the tradelane vortex appears, but the ship does not begin travelling. ship stops and sits there.

Affects likely all big ships that are able to enter tradelanes. Any tradelane.

The game isn't designed for big ships
And it worked 99% if you using the command

This is a known issue that'll slowly but surely be patched out of the game with balance updates for transports in the (near) future. It's not a "big ship" problem so much as an "oddly configured big ship" problem.
