[UI] Going from Windowed Mode to Fullscreen Mode ends up in a black screen - Kherty - 08-30-2025 Type: UI Bug: Going from Windowed Mode to Fullscreen Mode ends up in a black screen and you can't do anything about it. (it wasn't the case before the patch). Reproduction Steps:
Additional Information: >BLACK SCREEN< (it's just a black screen.) The game is in Windowed Mode, of course. Before the patch, it didn't do that. And it's not consistent either. Sometimes it works flawlessly like before; sometimes it doesn't and end up like so. Thank you. Do not repeat this template for unrelated bugs, each needs their own thread. RE: [UI] Going from Windowed Mode to Fullscreen Mode ends up in a black screen - Petitioner - 09-02-2025 Interestingly, I have the exact same issue, but only if I'm streaming the game on Discord. I can alt+enter to switch between windowed and fullscreen just fine, until I start streaming, at which point either trying to go from fullscreen to windowed or alt-tabbing out of the game while it's on fullscreen gives this flickering black screen which requires the use of task manager to kill the game. RE: [UI] Going from Windowed Mode to Fullscreen Mode ends up in a black screen - Aingar - 09-02-2025 Painfully aware of the issue which stems from the way FLUF interfaces with the game renderer. Several fixes were attempted that don't appear to have done much, if anything. A more robust fix is in the works, but no ETA at the moment. A workaround is to turn off borderless window mode, since from what I'm aware it only occurs when that border mode is enabled (even if in fullscreen). You can switch between the border/borderless modes in the FLUF config menu, you'll need to define a keybind to access it. |
