Hi
I just tried to login in and was told server requires a password,if so what is the password?

There is no password. The only password they could be is either for a faction tag or PoB related stuff.

This was due to devs whitelisting the server in order to fix a sudden issue which required testing very quickly.
Password has since been removed. You may rejoin the server at your leisure.

No, we briefly passworded the server to fix the issue of powercores getting deleted.
