I’m forwarding the outcome of my exchange with Orbital Spa & Cruise.
Turns out the official request for using the Barbados as a base was rejected, at least on the surface.
But off the record, they’re offering us something that’s essentially the same thing with a different label slapped on it.

They’re willing to allocate VIP Rooms aboard the Liner for “extended use.”
From how they phrased it, those rooms can function exactly as we need:
quiet, private, serviced, neutral territory, and far enough from Vespucci’s usual troublemakers that we can operate without attracting eyes.
OS&C gets plausible deniability, we get a foothold in the system.
That’s as clean as deals with civilians get.

Costs weren’t specified yet, they want us on Curacao for that.
Stephanie Cross, the one handling the talks for them, insisted that negotiations take place at their headquarters.
Security checks every hour, and they can even relocate us to a private island if things require deeper privacy.
Good sign: if they’re offering that much caution up front, they expect the relationship to continue.
And that’s what we need.

She also mentioned they’d welcome trade contributions from our side, with only one red line:
nothing from Malta except personal-use quantities.
Everything else is on the table.
So before the Curacao meeting, we need to assemble a clean list of commodities we can safely and consistently move,
something useful enough that OS&C sees value in keeping our presence on Barbados undisturbed.

In short:
We’ve got a near-secured backdoor into Vespucci, sheltered under a civilian megacorp known for keeping their hands clean.
Not perfect, but likely the safest arrangement we’ll get without attracting unwanted flags.

Alright, listen up.

I’ve secured the deal with OS&C regarding our presence on the Barbados. Officially, we’re “VIP guests.” Unofficially, the ship becomes our foothold in Vespucci as long as we keep things quiet and clean.

We’ll need four VIP cabins, monthly cost 600,000 credits total, but here’s the important part:
We don’t need to pay that in full.
OS&C accepts an offset through the tax they place on whatever profits we make selling goods on the ship. Meaning, if we move the right commodities among the passengers, the rooms effectively pay for themselves.

Their clientele has a taste for… questionable rarities. Xeno relics, Corsair artifacts, Azurite samples, anything exotic, rare, or borderline illegal. They didn’t say it outright, but it’s clear that the right items will cover our entire stay for months. And given the kind of collectors onboard, there’s potential for considerably more.

Next point:
OS&C wants a face-to-face for the final negotiation on Curacao.
I’ll need Sparrow with me for this one, her insight and her ability to read people will be useful and afterall she is our Commander.

This is the cleanest and safest way we’re going to get a foothold in Vespucci without drawing attention. Once the Barbados becomes a routine stop for us, we’ll have the mobility and cover we need for our long-term objectives.

OS&C confirmed everything. The four VIP cabins on the Barbados are officially reserved for us under the cover name “Rabe Interstellar Shipping.” Only the captain and first officer know our real identities. Everyone else will treat us as regular passengers.

This means we have secured a stable operational foothold in Vespucci and we don’t have to pay the full 600,000 credits if we play it right.
Stephanie made it very clear that profits from selling “collectibles” to their wealthy passengers can offset, or outright cancel, our cabin expenses. In other words:

We can pay our stay by trading.
Artifacts, Xeno relics, rare items, personal weapons… the clientele will eat it up.
We just have to operate quietly and avoid drawing too much attention to ourselves.

Next point: Curacao.
OS&C expected us there on the 6th or 7th of December..... Sadly some Upholds in the omnicrons delayed my arrival on Curacao that i make it on the 13.
I Hope they wont hang it against us but the situation in Delta with the growing Nomad Infestation and the core + order activity can be a problem.

For the Meeting on Curacao:

I will bring samples of the goods we discussed, not for sale, but as a gesture to show that cooperation with us is worth their time.

Stephanie also gave a hint:
Her wife, Chairwoman Cross, has a strong interest in rare firearms.
So Sparrow: if your schedule holds, I’ll need you with me for that meeting.
Your familiarity with the weapon stockpiles and their background stories will help with the presentation.

We will approach Curacao under the same cover ID:

We must contact Curacao Traffic Control before entering the resort airspace.
The area is locked down and heavily protected. Unauthorized entry is a guaranteed death sentence.

Prepare what you need, keep the cover story straight, and keep your gear clean.
This may open the door we’ve been waiting for.
