[Loading] Freeze - hribek - 09-25-2025
Type: Loading
Bug: After selecting a character in the game menu, game gets stuck in LOADING screen
I have not yet found a way to reliably reproduce this but I am not the only player affected by this bug.
Reproduction Workaround Steps:
- Try to login
- Get stuck
- Use Win+Tab to move Freelancer to another desktop because you cannot even Alt+Tab to escape
- Open Task Manager
- Kill Freelancer
- Wait until relog timer expires, even though the character being logged in is docked on a base
- Login the same character normally.
Second login attempt has not yet failed for me so far.

I have not encountered this issue and it does not sound like there are reliable reproduction steps
