Liberty Navy, First Fleet First Fleet Admiralty Admiral Jack Boehm Admirals and Chief Inspector:
Salutations, With tensions on the rise with Kusari, the First Fleet has deemed now an apt time to act on plans we have had shelved for some time now. Liberty needs to boost morale among both our civilians and servicemen, and as such we seek to send one of our ships, the Arlington, to Bretonia to proceed with the final recovery of the last of the Libertonian war dead from our ships that were lost during the war with Gallia. While most of our lost have at this time been recovered, there are still many unaccounted for, and we would seek to finally remove any uncertainty in the hearts of their families and compatriots. This brings me to the reason for sending out this communication. The Arlington is already on her way to New London, and should arrive shortly after you receive this message, but she will need to be going into dangerous parts of your space, and we would ask for escorts for her. She will need to deploy to both the Gettysburg which is in the Romsey Graveyard in New London, and to the Ottawa in Leeds. Once she's in position, our recovery teams will work as fast as they can, but as you can imagine we wish to be thorough and ensure all of our people are recovered. I understand that your resources may currently be stretched thin with the Dublin situation developing, but we have a duty to our fallen comrades which I'm sure you are all too familiar with. I look forward to hearing back from you as soon as you are able to formulate a plan and response. Sincerely, Jack Boehm ADM, 1FLT Liberty Navy Important: This communication remains the property of the Libertonian Armed Forces and is subject to the jurisdiction of the Neural Net Communications Act 807 A.S, Section 30. Liberty Navy, First Fleet First Fleet Admiralty Admiral Jack Boehm Chief Inspector Timson:
Ma'am, We appreciate your frank assessment of the risks involved, but the solemn duty that the Arlington must perform cannot be set aside purely because of these threats, regardless of their severity. Perhaps the Armed Forces will be able to provide additional escorts, but either way we intend to carry out the first part of this operation at 1800 SMT on 29 September. If this time does not work for you or your people please let me know and I can see about making adjustments. Sincerely, Jack Boehm ADM, 1FLT Liberty Navy Important: This communication remains the property of the Libertonian Armed Forces and is subject to the jurisdiction of the Neural Net Communications Act 807 A.S, Section 30.
