--> Sender Id : Duke Silverton -->>>Temporal Reference : 10/27/835 -->>>> Discourse : "Artificial" investments --->>>>> Recipient Id : AIX CEO Greetings, I'm sure you've heard of me, considering your drones are quite literally everywhere. In case you haven't however, my name is Duke Silverton, and I partly lead the ARM battalion of the second fleet for the Core. Now, I have a pair of questions for you. One, how goes business? I hope AIX can grow into something powerful to fuel the war efforts on the front lines, they seem to be rather effective and deadly. Demonstration efforts in Zeta, Delta, Gamma, and even recently down in the deeps of the Omegas, I've seen it all. So, two, in good faith, I was wondering if you would like to cooperate your efforts with our own. Not on the battlefield exactly, but I was rather considering cooperation in building more drones, bigger drones. I received a report the other day about a skirmish with the Gammu AI in Omicron Delta, our home. This I don't approve of, they already interfered with the Zeta campaign by taking over the Mars, and now they are testing the waters for a possible invasion of our system, even in their current state of being trapped in their single system over, Omicron Pi. The precise details explained that they had a variety of fighter craft, but these we already know about considering we are building our own. What I'm more interested in is however, are the automated cruisers. They seemed to know what we sent out there, and brought two of their own to match us, if not try to beat ours. They failed at this, considering we sent two veteran captains commanding both the War Vessel's "Ategnatos" and "Mafadi" out there, but they reported some interesting results, nevertheless. What they described in the report was fully automated cruiser war forms that we have rarely encountered before, but this time they had a fight with one. They specifically mention the source of this automation being the heart of the machine, working as a single unit rather instead of multiple. As our cruisers are very inferior to this, considering they use crew, oxygen, life support, and multiple designated rooms, I was wondering AIX could mock a Gammu Cruiser, and build one of our own. You have no need to be fancy, a few automated processes replacing a few basic functions of our cruisers may make them more effective overall, and we can use this later to perhaps even build bigger semi-automated vessels such as Bullheads and Makos, and perhaps even one day have them fully as automata, lifeless ships sailing the seas of the frontiers. That will be all, do please consider my offer of our cooperation, Duke out.

Receiving communication from your group was only a matter of time, given the specific nature of our work and the constant cooperation of our drones with you. We've spent the last few months working to secure additional grants from third-party organizations and private companies interested in our work. Perhaps we should also brief you on what we're doing before we move on.
The goal of our corporation is not to subjugate the artificial intelligence from the planet Gammu, but to create our own likeness of AI, which is capable of self-learning, but lacks those parameters and qualities that would define in it the personality that we can see in the inhabitants of the planet in Omicron Kappa. You've seen the consequences of what our colleagues attempted: Mars is lost, and we weren't able to fully realize our plans. Many investors we contacted before this incident didn't believe us, but when what happened, the situation changed. While our technologies are far from what AI is, we are still capable of automating some processes. Unfortunately, humans are extremely unprofitable in the modern economic system. Training a human is much more difficult than training a robot, not to mention the enormous costs of losing one. Some people think that a death insurance payout isn't such a tragedy in our reality. However, few consider the enormous costs incurred over the lifetime of a pilot who could die on their very first flight. The same applies to the crew, workers, and anyone else. Just imagine the benefits of not having a gunner, trained for years and credits, man a cruiser's gun and die from a torpedo hit in his first battle. Instead, a robot will do the job, easily replaceable if destroyed, and the experience gained during the encounter will be applied to the next machine. We don't have to look far for an example: two of our best drones, the AIX-099 and AIX-087, were destroyed nearly a hundred times, but returned again and again, in a new shell, with improved intelligence. Due to our limited resources, we can't upgrade all of your ships simultaneously. However, we can begin working on one specific one. The experience gained will allow us to expand our technical knowledge and develop new methods. Furthermore, demonstrating the new systems in action will attract new investors, providing us with more funding. I'm enclosing a list of upgrade options for any of your cruisers. You can choose only one. After some time, we can try implementing something else. ⠀☰ attachment.files:sent comm.channel.status:terminated ┐ signal.status:lost ┤ repeat.message(?):Y/N ┘ |
