Liberty Security Force External Threat Division Senior Agent Excelsus Evening,
Situation report:
Battlecruiser Tuscaloosa currently holds Sudbury's orbit. Despite the objective being completed, with Artifacts and scans prepared for exfiltration, the Navy has spun the damaging of the Lehigh and the destruction of the Robert Peary as a complete loss, and has convinced the Government to start cutting funding to the LSF.
That annoyance aside, I've had a significant other problem when overseeing LSF deployments in the Inverness and Ontario system. Namely, Order agents constant interruption, harassment, so on and so forth. During the operation in Ontario, I tailed one back to a Battleship's defense perimeter, the Atum. Osiris-class, staging point for their interference in the Ontario operation. Code: [25.03.2025 03:29:25] =LSF=Excelsus: Order vessel. After a communication marked for LSF and the Crayter Republic, a report from espionage specialists aboard Barrier Gate station detailed witnesses describing an unknown Order Osiris, Crayter heavy warships, and Liberty heavy warships engaged with a swarm of unknown fighters and gunboats. Judging by the communication, it seems that Crayter pledged their support to the Order through a different communication channel, and the Order are once again here to interfere and hinder operations under my supervision. The report further states that the Osiris received critical damage and escaped via cloaking device. I have decent reason to believe that that Osiris is the Order Atum that provided a staging point for the Order's interference with the operations in Inverness and Ontario. The reports of it being critically damaged also limit it's current location to three possible options. Barrier Gate Station, which is covered by LSF espionage specialists, and if it arrives there, it's as good as destroyed. Invergordon Shipyard in Inverness, which is monitored by LSF Long Range Strategic Strike Groups. If it arrives there, we are fully prepared to deploy strike teams to destroy it. The most likely and least accessible option is Sabah Shipyard, which lines up with Crayter's reported support of the Order, and with the Risk Management Department's suspicion that the Crayter Republic would ally with Bretonia to attack Liberty assets to secure the Jericho site for themselves, except instead of Bretonian assets, it was Order assets. In coordination with the Risk Management Department, we have formed Operation Diamond Drill: After a slave-revolt on Malta, the IMG and Crayter Republic have been at more extreme odds, with IMG expelling Crayter Republic refugees and residents from the mining colony on Pecos, a moon nearby Jericho. This straining of relationships can be advantageous, given Pecos sharing an orbit with Jericho, the target of interest. Exacerbating the conflict via false flag attacks can lead to the formation of extremists within the IMG, flags which I've already generated a copyable IFF-rip of, off of Crayter Republic's "Sierra-57", which I encountered during the operation in Inverness.
Attacking IMG stations and Convoys while flashing Crayter Republic IFF will cause disgruntled extremists to gain popularity and traction in the IMG, especially with targeted and pointed assistance from undercover agents. IMG extremists can, of course, be molded by the illusion of popular opinion, which we can use to stage an attack on Sabah Shipyard and destroy the Atum in drydock, provided it does not appear at either of the other two drydocks nearby the Coronado system. With the approval of a director, this operation is prepared to begin immediately. Liberty Security Force Tactical Operations Department Chief 'Siren' Agent Excelsus;
Liberty cannot afford to axe the funding of the Force, and while all forward facing entities might nod their heads and shake the hands of Admiralty, it will never be the case behind the scenes. If anything, the absolutely stellar performance of striking down the Liberty Rose and hundreds of the Xenos actually-functional strike craft, as well as the realization that there's even bigger problems at home should see us having greater freedoms in the near future. As for Diamond Drill, the plan has been passed around the Directorship and while there's a couple concerns on backlash, it's all deniable. Make sure whoever you enlist on the operation does their research on the mannerisms of both Crayter and the IMG so it doesn't come off as forced or artificial. I'm usually not all too interested in tact, but the last thing Liberty needs is more enemies on our doorstep. Consider this the green light on your operation. With any luck, I can even send some of the finer elements of TacOps to assist you on this. In service to the Republic.
