[SYSTEMS] Pacifica's escort cruiser lacks an infocard, lore and turrets. - Enkidu - 11-12-2025

Bug: Pacifica Base has an unarmed, unnamed hel cruiser "orbiting" the asteroid habitat, but unlike other examples of defensive cruisers positioned around major bases, it is considered to be part of Pacifica. This cruiser should be an independent asset, with its own infocard and turrets.
We can compare this unnamed, unarmed hel cruiser to the hel cruiser Sachsenwald, in orbit of Wedel base, located in the Hamburg system. The Saschenwald is a named, armed, independent entity with an infocard of its own. Pacifica's cruiser is intended to fill much the same role as the Sachsenwald.
However, Pacifica's cruiser is treated by the game as part of Pacifica - as if were a docked ship in a gantry (it isn't). Mousing over the ship selects Pacifica. Correspondingly, the cruiser has no infocard of its own.
This cruiser also lacks turrets of any kind.
This is probably an oversight, given that the cruiser is:
- Far enough from Pacifica to be an unambiguously separate entity.
- Other examples of cruisers in a protective position near bases usually merit their own infocards, turrets, etc.

These are IW01_01_hel_01 (armed, Unioner, outside the base) and IW01_01_hel_02 (unarmed, no affiliation, in the base's drydock).
They have ids_name and ids_info but are parented to Iw01_01. If they weren't parented, you'd see them both named "Rheinland Pirate Cruiser" with info pointing to the Hel's ship infocard.
I think IW01_01_hel_01 should be unparented and given its own name/infocard. Probably doesn't make sense to unparent it and not give it a name/infocard...
I'm not sure if it makes sense to give IW01_01_hel_02 one turrets or unparent it whilst it's in the dock.

Agreed on all points, thanks for addressing this.
Absolutely, the one in the dock (IW01_01_hel_02) likely doesn't justify its own infocard, since it's likely there as a bit of visual storytelling to indicate that Pacifica manufactures Hel cruisers.
IW01_01_hel_01 justifies some lore, in my mind.
